During the day it is just part of the street in the old town with some tables laid out for dinner, but in the evening it transforms into a bustling restaurant with excellent Greek food, live music and great atmosphere all run by Magda and her family. Our first visit was on spec and we turned up at 7 when there were only a couple of tables occupied. By the time we left everything was solidly occupied and people waiting - this was the first real week of the season, so I would imagine the reports we heard that there were normally queues waiting for a table in high season were likely true.
On our second visit (we felt it was well worth a second bite at the cherry) we booked a table for 8 at 6pm, just to make sure of getting in. This was a good move as it was the only available table.
Food was excellent and very reasoinably priced. The house red wine was a little tart, but drinkable - the only real downside.
The atmosphere was delightful; Old man Alexandros playing the guitar and various dditional players and singers arriving to join him as the evening progressed.
All in all a great night nd well recommended
