The Agnadio tavern is located on the Eastern side of Skiathos town high in the hills above the airport runway. There are great views to be had over the airport, across to Skiathos town and over to Skopelos and the smaller islands.
The taverna is about two kilometres from town, if you have your own transport take the road towards Evangelistrias Monastery that leaves the town ring road near to the junction with the airport road at bus stop 2. As you climb out of town you will come to Agnadio on the right, the car park is opposite accessed by a steep ramp.
You will always receive a friendly welcome, good service and high quality food, my own favourite being the slow cooked lamb. The prices here are a little more than I normally pay, but the views have to be worth a few euros extra!
It is well worth the effort to visit at least once in your holiday. However be warned, despite it being a little upmarket it is a touristy trap and if you want a ringside table for the best views you should always reserve in advance!
