We found this hotel when we visited Skiathos in August 2015. We had a look around and thought we might book it in 2016, we did.
The hotel was just what we were looking for, lovely rooms(ours was a superior room on the 1st floor)..
The staff make you so welcome, Demetrios and Yannis who own the hotel were very helpful during our stay. Demetrios was the chatty one Yannis is a bit quiet but still lovely. The young lady who serves in the bar area always has a smile on her face. The breakfast buffet style has everything, nice back bacon, pork sausages, beans etc etc.
The hotel is spotless, The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels,
Last year we were out of the town (about 15mins on a quad). This hotel is right were you need to be, in Skiathos Town.
We are booking for next August, we love it.
If you want to lay by the pool all day get down early, theres only about 10 sunbeds.
We are beach people so we were off on our quad (cost 360 euros for a 550cc) and we found some lovely beach areas, just speak to Demetrios he'll tell you exactly how to find them.

Stayed here for two weeks in July - our fourth holiday in Skiathos. We stay on Skiathos for a beach holiday with good eating options and enjoy a base in Skiathos Town for the evenings while using the bus for the beaches. The Bourtzi is probably the best hotel in the town for facilities with nice air conditioned rooms,a good pool and a great breakfast. What makes it great are Jannis and Dimitri who can't help enough to answer questions, give advice, book restaurants etc., etc.,

We've just returned from this wonderful hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough!

It's beautifully clean and stylish with all the little touches you'd expect from a boutique hotel. Attention to detail is the key. All the staff are extremely friendly, and as others have said Dimitri on reception is full of useful information which is invaluable when you're finding your feet.

Breakfast is superb too with a wide choice and the Lobby Bar coffee bar offers an extra dimension - you can sit with your drink and do a spot of people-watching as the other great thing about this hotel is it's great location. It's on the main street (so near everything you could want) but is nevertheless so well tucked away noise isn't a problem.

Skiathos is a lovely place and if we ever go back we will definitely return to this hotel.
