In Skiathos we found mediocre food and terrible customer services through 7 days of holiday. This place was incredible, a piece of heaven for senses. Great food and very nice staff. And the shop has lots of good delights.

One of the Trip Advisor comments I read said " Contemporary Dining" and i couldn't agree more. Set on the busy main pedestrian street it has some tables on the front and more inside, which was mercifully air-conditioned. There is a well stocked delicatessen on one side of the building and the restaurant has a Scandinavian feel to the furniture and decor - and i don't mean Ikea!

We sat inside and had hummus and bread to start followed by souvlaki chicken with a delicious "Cretan" rice and the homemade burger.

For us the appeal of this place is that it's not the usual taverna stuff and its served in a modern, yet still pleasant environment. Nothing wrong with the tavernas, just nice that there is something different available.

Had a lovely early dinner here after finding ergon whilst wandering around skiathos. Staff very enthusiastic about the food both on the menu and for sale in the deli. The meal was very good and a bit different. We had a great time and would certainly return.

Walking past Ergon in Skiathos, I noticed their big sign advertising for cooking lessons and I immediately signed up. You can choose between two different lessons and menus. With a group of six, we learned to make Greek coffee, spreads with Fava beans, a Greek style salad and philo dough and pastries. The chef took his time to demonstrate the dishes. I expected the class to be a bit more "hands-on", which - apart from rolling out philo dough- it wasn't. Although I can see why, since there's not enough space for that. But the atmosphere was great and afterwards we enjoyed the food. Overall, the cooking lessons are a nice way to get introduced to Greek cuisine. Just keep in mind that that's all it is -- a brief introduction.

We had a lunch and where really impressed. Reminded us of the delis we have in Surrey. Clean, bright restaurant with good service. We had gyros pitta which we really enjoyed. The meal was finished off with a mint sweet in water which was a surprise.
