We had a week stay. 6 adults and 4 children and couldn't have asked for more, perfect location and a lovely villa. Nothing was too much trouble for Joe and he would go above and beyond to ensure our holiday was perfect. Felt really safe and secure and will be returning soon.
Had an amazing holiday. The villa was clean with everything that we needed. The owner (Joe) was a delight. He was patient, answered all our questions and went the extra mile. He drove us around and loves his job. You're a star Joe
We had a wonderful time which was mainly down to the owner (Joe) and his wonderful villa. We were really looked after in the villa and supported to have the best time of our life.
Really enjoyed my stay at Casa do Prado. Had a fantastic holiday, the villa was very clean. The location was good not far from the town centre. The owner Joe was an absolute star, very helpful always willing to drive us around and take us where we need to go and also pick us up from the destination back to the villa. Any problems he was always there to fix it. Joe went the extra mile. I would definitely recommend this Villa.
We spent a week in this villa in May 2015. The villa was beautiful and spotlessly clean and well furnished with everything we could need for a relaxing holiday. The villa is a few miles from Albuifera but this was not an issue as the owner, Joe was available to provide lifts to wherever we needed to go. As we had a baby and an adult with mobility problems, this was a godsend for us, particularly as Joe had a car seat for the baby. The private pool was lovely and inflatables were also provided! We struggled to identify anything that would have improved the holiday and the only thing would perhaps be a stair gate available, if needed. Everything was perfect and all of the family were sorry to leave and want to return as soon as possible

This villa exceeded all our expectations and the location was perfect for the family and children. The unexpected extras provided in leaving a welcome pack for us and some toys and games for the children were very welcome and set the holiday to a fantastic start. We couldn't thank Joe enough especially when one of our party needed emergency dental treatment and he took us to the local hospital. The village of Guia is lovely with plenty of bars and restaurants and the nearby beach of Gale is stunning and a perfect setting for sunset viewing. All in all superb and our only regret is that we didn't book to stay longer however we will be booking again next year.

The villa is quite impressive with a nice pool area, the upstairs is big with TV and British free-view. ( not Sky TV )
The welcome pack, coffee, bread milk cheese, beer and wine, was a nice touch and very handy as we had 3 young hungry kids when we arrived.
The bed rooms are good, patio doors etc and comfy beds.
Jacuzzi bath was also really good as the kids loved it.
Guia is a nice little place, villa is a short 5 min walk from the Main Street. The restaurants mostly have the same menus but have a good variety so there isn't a problem.
Joe, the owner is helpful and will taxi you around on request (obviously at a cost)
There was a mix up when we booked, we were quoted one price for a week, heated pool and 2 cots and then charged extra for the pool and cots. Not a massive issue but annoying all the same.
We were told one of the cots was a perminant fixture in the room, as it is too big to be removed, it can also be seen on the advertising photos, so why were we charged £35 for the use of this? Fair enough the extra cot but come on!
The towels and bedding were not changed or freshened at all in the weeks stay, we ended up washing the towels ourselves, not what I expected with the high rating on the reviews.
And last of all, the notices telling you if you smash a plate/bowl etc you should go to the Makro and replace it, I thought that was a bit much.
On the whole, a very nice place to spend a week. But be very careful what you book as there will be extras added.
