We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights this September. In general it’s a good hotel.
The pros:
- It’s with very nice interior, new and stylish
- It’s with good location
- It’s clean. They clean the rooms every day and change the towels and the bed sheets every 2 days.
- There are plenty of parking spots.
The cons:
- The mattresses are with springs and very hard, it will be good if they change them or at least offer a top mattress. I had back ache after the first night.
- They have bed sheets that you cannot put a blanket in. If you want to use a blanket (which is not exactly blanket but the bed cover) you should put it over the sheet which I didn’t find to be good hygiene.
- It gets very noisy in the morning when it’s breakfast time (you can hear the sound of the plates knifes, spoons, etc. in your room) and if you want to sleep at that time, you won’t be able to.

stayed in Thassos many times but first time at Galaxy. We had a down stairs room which we found to be very quiet day or night .Perfect pool to relax by even if you don,t want to swim, bar open all day where you can also get tea or coffee and very tasty snacks.Linen and towels changed often and of good quality and a few bathroom treats. We were made to feel very welcome and would stay there again .

Room tip: lower front rooms have sun in the morning but shade in the afternoon

This hotel is a 5-6 minute walk to town center. It is very clean. Everything looks new and it was recently renovated. The room is a bit small and there is not much of a view (our room faced the hill). There is a small pool which we didn't use. The breakfast menu was small too but I thought it was enough. We also loved the decor of the hotel. One thing we didn't like was the price. I thought the prices were really high but again 92% of the island was already booked when I made the reservation. That might be the reason. I would definitely recommend it if you are going to stay on this side of the island.

The rooms appear to have been refurbished recently, so are of an excellent condition.

Location-wise it's about a 5-10 min walk to the main hub of bars and restaurants, and the beach is a 10-15 min walk away. It's far enough out of the centre to enjoy a rural setting without the noise, yet be close enough to walk to everything you'd need.

The breakfast is simple, but I feel that's a bonus - the food is lovely and fresh, and you get a sense of it being locally produced (delicious feta + spinach parcels, and there are still scrambled eggs for any cooked breakfast aficionado)
The pool is small and clean, and there are few sunbeds, but in the couple of occasions that we used them there were always plenty to choose from. Additionally, for those who have use of a car during their stay, there's plenty of space to park it off the street.

Possibly my only gripe would be the speed of the Wi-Fi (slow at best).

A professionally managed family hotel; I stayed many hotels in the island but this hotel remarkabely different from others ; it's clean, decorated very precisely and every object has been choosed with a gentle artistry. You may have the beeakfest like in an art gallery. Mr Yanni who is owner the hotel and his wife's hospitality was impressed. Only problem that small hotel has small rooms and bathroom and toilets are also small. There is a small swimming pool and it's cleaned every day by Mr. Yanni. Every day every room is cleaned by hotel stuff and controlled by Yanni's wife. The hotel has not a restaurant but you may have lunch and/or dinner in any restaurant inside of the port area. The hotel has a free parking area and walking distance to the Thassos Port. The price is slightly higher then similar others but it's worth.
