We stayed here for a week and had a lovely time. The rooms are Greek so basic, but how long do you really spend in there ? The room we had was clean and overall comfortable, the bathroom was very small with an interesting alignment for the toilet. Quiet at night time. The hotel is right on the beach but there are no other bars and restaurants around there, the food served at the covered terrace is very good though. Drinks are an average price for a Greek island and comparable for the prices that were being charged in Thassos town, which is about a twenty five minute walk into town, you can either walk the road way or it down and walk along the promenade.
The beach at the hotel is wonderful. Very safe and a good starting point for getting toddlers used to the sea. Water is lovely and clear. It certainly helps with the free sun beds. And yes people do still get up early to reserve their spot but there were plenty to go round when we were there, but if you wanted to be away from the guests then you could go further up the beach anyway.
There’s not much to do at night time so you make your own entertainment or go into town
If you have the half board option then the breakfast is as to be expected in Greece. You choose your evening meal at breakfast, we ate the Greek choice each night and were really pleased with the choice and quality of what was served. A couple of nights and peach or nectarine was classed as the dessert mind you, other nights it was ice cream or cake though. But overall it was a good option.
If we were going to go back to Thassos then we would consider staying here again.

Absolutely loved this hotel as it met our needs for this holiday exactly. Quiet, on the beach, and with good food.

Our ground floor room was small, but with a good sized shower room. Big shower cubicle with great water flow. Some free toiletries provided, but not replaced regularly. The bed was really comfortable and supportive so that you didn't really know when your partner turned over. Laying in bed listening to the gentle lap of the waves on the shore - totally relaxing.
The room has a safe, air conditioning, and a hair dryer. No kettle, but they are happy for you to take your own. There is a fridge in the room stocked with water, soda's, beer & wine. Prices are similar to the bar prices, but there is a 2 euro a day fee for keeping your own food/drink in there.

Breakfast is self-service and has all of the usual continental options including cereals, bread/toast, jam, honey, choc spread, fried eggs or omelette, small sausages, cold meats, cheese, tomatoes, yoghurt, fruit etc along with tea, coffee, water and orange squash. Enough for even the fussiest eater.

We stayed half-board and dinner was exceptional for this type of hotel. Each night there is a Greek starter and main course. For the fussy, including me, if you don't fancy the set main you can choose from 6 basic alternatives which include pork or chicken souvlaki, sausages, burgers etc. You select your food choice at breakfast time, so if you don't fancy the dinner you have time to plan to eat out. There are plenty of drink options, including some very good wines at around 14/15 euros a bottle. Cocktails are 8 euros and carbonated drinks around 2.20, so drinks are not cheap, but not overly expensive either.

Throughout the day the hotel offers a full range of snacks and meals in their taverna, which is open to the public and seems to be quite popular.
A word of warning - wasps ! They seem to be everywhere on Thassos, and this taverna is no different.

The beach, which is directly on the doorstep, is soft sand although there are some large stones in it. There are sunbeds which are free to guests, or if you prefer a more natural setting, walk a few yards up the beach where you can lay on the sand in the shade of the trees. The water is shallow enough for children to be safe, but gets deep enough for more accomplished swimmers about 20 yards out. This is a lovely beach, but as it is not visible from the coast road, it doesn't get too busy.

If you want to see more of the island, get reception to deal with car hire for you. Much cheaper than TUI, although car hire is not really cheap anywhere. We had to pay 70 euros for a small car for 2 days.

This hotel has 4 family rooms but they are not available through TUI. If you have kids, contact the hotel direct.

Unfortunately not a fantastic experience.
As soon as we arrived, our children were told they had to move rooms, because someone else, whom the hotel clearly gave preference to, requested their room so after one night they had to move all their belongings somewhere else. This made us feel undervalued as customers from the start. We also could not get a room next to them despite asking several times and ended up half way across the hotel. Our room was tiny, it was dark, no windows and you could hardly walk around the bed.
As for the food and drink, dessert 5/7 nights was a piece of fruit either a peach or some grapes, which seemed to be just a cheap and easy way out. The alcohol was overpriced and the service of the evening meal as said in other comments was much too fast, each night we were sat down and the food was brought out straight away, making us feel rushed and unwelcome.
As for the positives - the beach is small but clean and the ocean is perfect for swimming. The breakfast lady and the food she produced was wonderful and the cleaners were lovely, the room was made up very nicely despite not being brilliant.

One of the best place on the island. The view from my balcony was fantastic, first day full moonrise and in the next morning an imperial sunrise.
Sandy beach at 5m from the hotel and clear water.
Restaurant terrace in a breezy shadow and with good food,my favorite stuffed pepper.
A very nice place to spent your holiday.

This hotel is in a lovely quiet location right on a beautiful beach just right for rest and relaxation and a lovely walk into Thassos town centre which takes about 20/25 minutes. All rooms have a sea view and a balcony. There is a safe, fridge and air con which are all free. There is a hairdryier and shampoo, shower cream etc. were provided when we arrived. The room itself was quite small but had everything we needed and was cleaned every day, however the shower room was really small. All the staff in the hotel were really helpful. You could eat breakfast inside or out and was continental meats, fruits, small cakes etc. also small sausages, omlette and fried eggs but was the same every day which was ok but could maybe have changed it a bit. Lunch was in the beautiful taverna overlooking the sea and had a varied menu. The evening meals (which you chose at breakast time) was traditional Greek food or you could chose from menu 2. The food was homemade and was absolutely delicious and served by really friendly waiters in the taverna. The beach has free sunbeds and parasols but could do with more as you had to get up and reserve yours before breakfast as they did get taken really quickly. If you want an authentic Greek holiday you can't beat Thassos and this hotel has still kept it's Greek charm and you can't fail to come back home totally recharged.
