Literally the first tavern we came across and what luck. We were luckily having no booking to get in. Live music (they were great) and super food and get yourself some Robola wine - it's local and fantastic.

Back in Trapezaki after a couple of years and returned to Stamna. Excellent as always. We ate there three times during our holiday and they accommodated our party of six adults and and my two small grandchildren very well, preparing our booked table with high chair etc. Elvira is a charming host and the staff are efficient and welcoming. The Greek night on Saturdays is a must do and we were sorry to have to leave early as we had to put the children to bed. I’m told by my wife and daughter that the Seabass is amazing. They both had on each of the three occasions we were there. Very good Stifado and cheese/ spinach pies. Food was of a consistently high standard. We hope to return to Trapezaki in the future and a return visit to Stamna will be on the cards. Thank you Elvira. Mike and family x

We visit this lovely little taverna every time we go to kefalonia. The owners and family are so friendly and welcoming. The food is good honest Greek food, reasonably priced.l recommend the Greek night which is every Saturday night in the season. There is lively Greek music and dancing. It's always a great night. Lovely views of the sea from the side elevation.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this family establishment....I had the Kefolonian pie and it was really tasty..my wife had mousaka and was pleased with it. The wine and beer were tasty and the setting overlooking greenery and floral arrangements was nice.We will return on our next visit to the area.

The restaurant itself is a nice place and almost all visitors can enjoy the panoramic sea view. But the food that is served is not typical for greece. It has been adjusted to the touristic taste. The stifado i ordered literally contained two small slices of meat and about 50 little onions. It came with rice and fries (fries have not been invented by the greek). Taste was ok but not outstanding. Except for the almost meatless stifado the food was eatable. But again this was not authentic ehich is rhe reason for us not visiting this place again.
