We had a wonderful 2 weeks here last year, and are going back 4 weeks today. The staff were wonderful, and helpful with directions etc.We always hire a car and the hill to the hotel is a little frightening at first but once we knew what times the coaches and mini bus used it, we coped. The pool, bar and breakfast room were always immaculate, and the rooms are looked after very well. Liminaka beach is wonderful (pebbly) with a great taverna, and even had free WiFi last year. One day the sea was quite rough which made it more exciting. The shuttle bus runs several times a day, it is a shame that they don't do an evening run.

Room Tip: We have asked for the same room as last year. The front facing end one, above the car park. but we d...

Amazing. Absolutely the best trip I have ever had. The hotel pool overlooks the most beautiful view of the sea. Having never visited Greece before I was not expecting to fall in love with it, but this hotel and the island are absolutely to die for. I will definitely return to this island, and this hotel as many times as possible. I visited with my mother for a relaxing holiday having finished being a student, and this was like heaven. We (mum) paid extra for the hotel room with the view over the sea and I am glad she did. Watching the sunset with a glass of wine was brilliant. The hotel staff are so friendly, and were always ready to help with any questions we had. Having always said I wanted to go to the Maldives for my honeymoon I now change my mind- for the price this beats the Maldives hands down. BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT!
The only 'downside' to this hotel (and the view compensates ten fold for this) is the walk up to it as it is up the hill. Car hire is so cheap on the island though if you have difficulty walking up and down stairs you could at little expense hire a car for the duration of your stay.

Room Tip: Ask for the sea view - worth the extra pennies!

Just returned from two wonderful weeks at this lovely hotel. All the staff from the friendly manager George and lovely receptionist Maria are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful and make your stay a wonderful experience. The views from the hotel across the bay to Kokkari village are breathtaking. The rooms are bright and spotlessly clean as is the pool with wonderful views. Breakfast is very extensive, both hot and cold. The hotel is set upon a hillside but runs a courtesy bus to the village and nearby beaches during the day. Rooms have either a garden view or by paying a supplement can have a sea view. Definitely going back next year!

Room Tip: Worth paying extra for the view.

My wife and I have just got back from a weeks stay at the Kalidon Panorama. It was probably one of the nicest places that I have ever stayed. Greek hotels are very often friendly and clean but lack attention to detail. The Kalidon Panorama thinks of everything - Free deposit box, free air con, inexpensive mini bar, complimentary bathroom soaps/shampoo, constantly helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast selection accompanied by the most stunning view. The pool is like something out of a Vogue magazine. Lemonakia beach and taverna are just down the hill. I really can't compliment them enough. Can't wait until next year.

Room Tip: Sea view if available but all are nice.

This was a fantastic hotel with wonderful staff who can't do enough for you. The hotel is extremely well kept, clean, comfortable with the best setting in Kokkari. There are fabulous views across the bay. Breakfasts are excellent and have a good range of fresh and beautifully cooked fresh food.
A all the staff wanted to make our holiday very special and they achieve this in abundance.

The pool is very clean and well managed.

Room Tip: Go for a sea view it is worth it for sunrises and a cooling gentle breeze in the evening.

This hotel was perfect for a quiet, lazy week's holiday in Samos. It was very quiet and peaceful and apart from sitting by the pool, there wasn't really anything to do. For me, it was perfect. It is up a steep hill, which makes for wonderful views. It is a 15 minute walk from the centre of Kokkari, which has lots of restaurants and bars. We walked downhill in the evenings, using the short cut through the neighbouring hotel. The path was a little uneven, and maybe problematic for those with walking difficulties. We managed the walk back up a couple of times, which was fairly demanding! However, taxis are easily available for 4 Euros.
The hotel's public areas were spotlessly clean and well kept. The pool area was lovely and it was always easy to get a sunbed. The two nearby beaches were very pretty and easy to get to using the hotel's free minibus service.
The room was basic but clean. There were a few niggles; the fridge was too small to fit much in and the bathroom sink wasn't quite attached to the wall! The bathroom didn't offer much privacy as the shower was in front of the window. As with most Greek hotel rooms, the mattress was too hard. However, the overall experience of staying in the hotel negated these small negatives and didn't really matter much. Just don't expect too much luxury in the rooms!
The breakfast offered a wide variety and was good. The bar offered a few snacks which were good for lunch. All staff were friendly and helpful, without exception. They really made the hotel and for the first time in my experience, staff came to personally say goodbye when we left; a really nice touch.
I was looking for a quiet hotel with a good pool area, and this hotel did the job perfectly. It may not be for everyone, due to its location and it is not really suitable for children. However, if I am ever back in Samos, this is where I will be staying!
