“Not 5 Stars!”
Reviewed 14 September 2013

We recently had a weeks stay on Half board..Potentially it's a beautiful Hotel. BUT ..
Our room although very comfortable had a Shower which poured water onto the floor. The taps on the hand basin were so loose that we only used them really carefully. The bath towels were very small and looked like they had seen better days.
The Pool area was a nightmare. Very loud disco music blasted out all the time. We complained to both staff and management on numerous occasions to no avail. The pool area for the week we were there was frequently deserted and on speaking to other guests the music was a big factor in driving them away!
The beach loungers/pool loungers were in a poor state of repair. Many were broken and the pads were dirty.
The food in the main restaurant was the usual Buffet which due to lack of variety became very repetitive. On speaking to a member of staff as to why we had Pork 3 days in a row the comment back to us was we only cook it!
We enjoyed our stay but would not return as we feel it does not deliver what it should.
5 star should mean 5 star.

Dear valued guest,
Please accept our deepest apologies for the shortcoming of our arrangements.
I would like to assure you that we have noted your complaints and we already undertook actions to confront them.
We already started working with a different IP rights agency in order to have more matching music to the ears of our guests.
As we are getting at the end of the season, certain lounges might need maintenance since they are made out of real wood, instead of plastic, while wind and sand in conjunction with the hot summer sun of Rhodes can be harsh on them. Although, we are constantly checking our equipment and it is replaced when it is needed.
In Lindian Village we are proud for the culinary choices that are offered to our customers, along with the buffet we operate four more restaurants within our property ranging from Thai cuisine to nouveau Greek and Fish restaurants. In that sense, the buffet restaurant offers international dishes accepted by a wider range of customers. Though, since we understand the value of the packages we are selling, certain nights of the week we organize in our buffet special culinary events focused on more specific types of cuisine such as South-East Asian, BBQ, fish nights, Greek, et cetera.

We would like to assure you that if you choose to spend your vacations again with us, we will not let you down this time.

We stayed a week in Lindian village 2 adults and 3 childrens. We had a suite with a private pool. Service was excellent. One time our safe was stuck, the service person came immediately. At another instance a glass was broken, the cleaning lady came immediately and perfectly cleaned the room.
We had Half Board meals - Breakfast and dinner were varied and delicious especially deserts!
The village itself is beautiful! clean, full with flowers. The stream is well maintained. Also,
Music in the evenings was great.
In summary, we would recommend to any family/couple that would like a relaxing, 5 star vaction resort in Rhodos. Thank you Lindian Village! We hope to come back soon.

- No refill of the minibar.
- Breakfast: only watermelon and slices of grapefruit
- Beach: there was supposed to be a beach bar service on the beach, but beside menu cards attached to the sun beds there was no catering service
- My friend and my 2 sons (10 and 13 years) chose "the local fish of the day" in the à la carte restaurant: the price was 270 euro ??!!! for the local fish, unbelievable !
- No hairdresser although it is a 5 stars hotel.
- outdoor fitness, not cleaned and not usable when it is more than 32 degrees

First impressions

It was a great experience that had a Thailand feel to it. There was a slow flowing river going through the hotel, which was surrounded by a beautiful garden.
We reserved a standard double room through the internet and when we arrived were quite happy to find out that we have been upgraded to a pool villa.

The Beach

It was very interesting to go to the beach for the first time. Instead of umbrellas or palm trees, the shade was managed by beautiful pine trees. There were night stand type of lamps next to the sun beds, which created a very secluded and library like feel to the situation there.

Activities

There were a whole bunch of activities that one could attend in the hotel, which from our previous experience in Greece is not typical for the country. There were classes in yoga, Pilates, stretching, ballooning. The instructor was called Gabriela and was great talking to her. She really knows her job.

Restaurants

The breakfast buffet was very pleasant and classy. There was also a Thai restaurant and a Greek restaurant, both of them serving very authentic food. We would like to thank Petros and his Athenian colleague.

Spa

I strongly recommend the ayurveda massage. Thanks to Abi it was a great experience. The hamam was great and authentic.

Service

Everyone was really great. It was very easy for us to make friends with the staff. The manager of the hotel was very helpful especially when our car broke down and we needed service to fix it. We want to thank Larissa that guided us and helped us.

Others
There are many things to do on the island and one week cant be enough to visit everything and experience all the aspects of this Greek treasure. We will definitely be back next summer!

Uncluttered and relaxing redort with clean rooms. Junior suite was to a very good standard. Dining facilities were hassle free and more than pleasant; staff were very willing to help and friendly. Pools and beach were vey convenient (on door step). All inclusive is definitely recommended for all. Eveings are fairly tame which aids relaxation and night fun can be found in nearby Lindos which is also recommended.

We stayed in lidian village during august and really i have to say it was excellent.
Staff are very polite and helpful, all of them, i can't exclude any one one we met.
Mr. Savass is a real manager available at your service to ensure your satisfaction. We booked normal room and when we reached the resort we have been upgraded automatically to a junior suite with a jaccuzi. Breakfast is excellent and very rich in all kinds of food.
I recall few minor things which i promised Mr. Savass to write comment on it: i had 2 similar incidents that room service they knock one time only on the door and then they use the master key to open the door! The first time it happened was surprissing i had to explain to the person that he shouldnt open the door especially that he knows very well that we are in the room because he is carrying our dinner which we ordered to the room. Another thing which i believe need improvement is to have a section for tours with somebody dedicated to help people in choosing and arranging the tour they need.

I would say again thx to lindian village, to M. Savass and to all the staff who helped us and made our stay fantastic.....

As the name itself denotes the hotel has been designed as a village (river flowing through it included), with a plethora of flowers that make it look both beautiful and colourful. I'll start with the staff, who are very helpful, very friendly and overall very nice and professional. What I appreciated most about the Lindian Village was the access to the beach and the fact that their beach is shaded, meaning that you can stay there all day without getting a sunburn. The hotel also boasts some of the most amazing restaurants on the island and overall. Their Thai restaurant, to give just an example, is excellent. The breakfast buffet is also very well stocked and more imaginative than other mainstream breakfast buffets. Although I did not use their swimming pool at all (being Greek, I prefer the sea if I can get it), I have to admit it looked very inviting. I would also like to note that we were a party of four arriving at the last minute and the hotel was fully booked (we had made no prior reservation). Nonetheless, the manager went out of his way to accommodate us and even hosted us for a few days in the owner's quarters (which were so lovely, we were almost sad to switch places). We ended up staying for 10 highly enjoyable and relaxing days. I can only recommend this place.
