Nicola is gorgeous!. It’s well appointed and has the most amazing views across the channel to the mainland. Perfectly placed for viewing the rising sun if you happen to be awake early enough!
The long, steep walk back to the villa did put us off our usual morning visits to Levrechio Beach, but being able to laze around on the terrace all day and take the occasional cooling dip in the pool (small but perfectly formed!) was a wonderful alternative. Loved the big, airy living room – especially the huge patio window looking out across the sea. The big bathroom with all its cupboards and shelves was most “unGreek-like” and a welcome change from what we’re used to on Paxos and the north facing bedroom was cool and very nicely furnished in modern almost minimalistic (again very unGreek-like!) style, whilst still having plenty of wardrobe and drawer space for 4 weeks-worth of clothes. Another big plus was the reliable, strong wi-fi service which was a welcome change from some other accommodation we’ve stayed in where we’ve had to rely on the temperamental Paxos Municipality service. We must also give a special mention to the maid Helen, who went above and beyond her cleaning duties, regularly providing us with samples of her delicious home cooking, washing (and returning within a couple of hours) the pillowcase I’d brought with my comfy pillow from home and being a great help to us when we moved villas for the last few hours of our time on Paxos. She’s an absolute treasure!
