This hotel is clean and the rooms are really big. We were on the second floor overlooking the pool and had a large balcony. The maid service was excellent, clean towels every day albeit a bit in the thin side, and the beds are very firm but that's better than sloppy mattresses. It was extremely quiet and the pool area was never busy. The pool bar was good with a choice of cooked food plus drinks and ice cream. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was perfect, plenty of choice of hot and cold food plus a toaster and good tea and coffee. The short walk to the beach was pretty and the beach is superb. The choice of restaurants is fantastic, we had some amazing meals and the house wine at each one was really cheap but really good. The whole place was peaceful and pleasant and I would certainly go again. I have knocked off one star because the young man on reception assured me the wi fi worked in all the rooms and pool areas. With this knowledge I paid for seven days. Well the wi fi does not work anywhere apart from the reception itself, not even in the dining room which was next door! I was unhappy that I paid for something I could not access. All the restaurants and cafés have free wi fi and we used that, so there is no excuse for the hotel to put some boosters in. If you go the first week in July, as we did, you need to be aware that this isn't classed as high season, so quite a few of the trips do not operate until the school holidays. The resort is windy so that needs to be taken into account.
