“Lovely beach”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

It is a pebble beach so water shoes advised but the sea is lovely. Sun beds are good value and drinks are served straight to your lounger if you pick the more expensive beds. The beach side tavernas are busy but the food good and service friendly. The Barbati Ski Club do safe, fun water sports and at a competitive rate. All in all a good day out.

“AVOID THE SEA SHELL BAR”
Reviewed 10 August 2014 via mobile

Nice rock beach, wonderfull sea but DO NOT GO TO "THE SEA SHELL" bar/resturant! We've waited 1.30h for 3 salads 1 plate of pasta and 3 pork plates which were a shame for the greek cousine. We had to eat with bees all around us and we weren't even given the wifi password even tho we've been asking for it for the entire time! When we told them about all of this they didn't even excuse!

“Nice clean beach”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

Very nice and clean. Small "lockers" to change in which we found very convinient. Nice showers along the beach to clean of salty water. Boat and pedalboat hire. Restaurants, bars and tavernas along the beach, the best beeing the one at the La Riviera Barbati. Peebles, and little sand so you might like to wear bath shoes. Sunbeds or not, your choise!

“Nice tavern but crowded”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

Barbati beach is well located with a nice vue and a nice taverna with ok food. The chairs re a little to close and there is many other nice beaches when you continue north. Try Glyfa beach instead.

“Quiet pebble beach”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

Make sure to bring sandles because the pebbles aren't too easy to walk on! You can get 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for 6 Euro from most of the restaurants along the beach which will last all day. If it's the weekend, get there before noon otherwise you'll have to wait until around 7pm until people leave to get an umbrella. There is enough open space to bring your own umbrella as well. It's a relatively quiet beach with enough space to find quiet areas or sit at a bar with music.
