Yep, we were unlucky enough to have a rainy day on the first day of our mid June holiday in Paleo, we'd visited Paleo the previous September and as it was hot we hadn't fancied being couped up in an aquarium.
The cost was 6euro each and you could pay an extra 6euro to also get a trip on a glass bottomed boat, we declined as it was a bit rainy etc, my sea legs aren't the best on a calm day! However they did say we could reclaim it another day, just show our ticket, which I thought was great.
There are two sections to the aquarium, the first is fish and other local sealife, it was interesting for us as we like to go snorkelling and it meant we found out some of the names of fish we see. The second part is repltiles, a good selection including various pythons' lizards, terrapins and even a small Caiman crocodile. One of the larger pythons was bought out of it's viv' for a 'viewing'.
I enjoyed the place, it's a bit on the shabby side in places so don't expect the Sealife Centre, the animals looked healthy maybe a little sparse in some of the living conditions but they didn't look like they were suffering at all.
I say it's worth the visit
