On arrival there is fresh cool cucumber water a friendly welcome and no giving credit cards and loads of information. It's all very relaxing. We were taken to our room which was very clean and cool also the private pool waiting.everything is so relaxing. The food is lovely cant fault it at all
We had a day on the hotel princess 50 foot boat which was amazing this is a must you see 4 Islands stop for a swim in the clear sea then onto have lunch in a lovely restaurant
This is a small hotel very friendly and nothing is too much to ask for. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to Fiscardo Harbour and will pick you back up later
I could not find any fault whatsoever with any part of our stay

Room Tip: Room with a small pool

A superb hotel with everything you would expect in terms of service and comfort from a 5* establishment.
Even in the height of August there felt like room and space around the ample grounds.
The one minor gripe would be the amount of children, which is a little surprising in a Mr & Mrs Smith Hotel.

My wife and I spent a week at the Emelisse in July 2014 and cannot fault it. It looks amazing, has brilliant views across the sea - 2 mins away from Emblisi Beach - the pools are great (there's a quiet adult pool we spent most of our time at and big, bustling kids pool by the pool bar restaurant if you want more of a buzz), the staff are super-friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is fantastic and really reasonably priced - €9 for a big lunchtime Greek salad, for example, and around the same price for the chicken/pork gyros which came with pitta, salad and chips - YUM. The complimentary buffet breakfasts are also amazing - we often did a 3-courser and it kept us going till evening meal time! At night the hotel puts on special food evenings at its Kinema terrace (overlooking the adult pool and boasting an outdoor projector and film screen) - we enjoyed a pizza night with Harry Potter, and then another with Philomena (!) and a Meze night with Captain Correlli's Mandalin. After you've finished your meal you can plonk yourself on the squashy sofas and enjoy your film under the stars (wife LOVED it). A special mention to the manager of the Kinema terrace too: a cocktail-making multilingual pro who not only made you feel welcome but also doubled up as a one-man creche when called for. We had a treatment at the Elemis spa too - a real treat if you fancy splashing out a bit. This hotel manages to be both sophisticated and grown up while being totally family friendly. We're already looking at booking next year's trip! Oh, final note from my wife: "If this place did branded ice-cream goods so I could have white Magnums on tap I'd give it six stars".

Just come back from a wonderful relaxing stay at the Emelisse at Fiscardo - definitely the finest hotel on the island in the best location. The staff are all relaxed, friendly and unobtrusive but offer first class service with nothing too much trouble. Food was almost top notch but not quite. Breakfasts on the terrace of excellent quality. The main restaurant next to the pool was very good but we did have better meals in the restaurants in Fiscardo - Vassos particularly good for fish. Hired the hotel's small motor boat for the day - a bit pricey at 150 Euros and the packed lunch consisted of two rolls wrapped in clingfilm, two peaches and a bottle of water, which I thought was a bit mean. Was told that the furthermost part of the island that could be reached by boat would be Assos. Do not attempt as it takes almost 3 hours to get there! A better option is to wonder locally - into Fiscardo then around a few local bays. the hotel should advise accordingly! The gym is superb - air conditioned with some excellent modern equipment. Mountain bikes free of charge also a plus. The rooms are lovely - we booked partial sea view and ended up in Room 119 which was outstanding - on the edge of the hotel complex overlooking Ithaka. Beautiful sunrise at 6 am. Some lovely sitting out areas both at the main hotel (infiniti pool), by the main pool and down on the rocky beach. Lovely swimming conditions. But thanks to the staff in making our stay truly memorable.

On arrival we were greeted with chilled cucumber water and refreshing towels and this set the tone for the whole stay. The staff were very polite and all drinks by the pool were brought to you and charged to the room. This may be just a ploy to ensure tips for the many waiting staff but it instantly puts you into holiday mode.
The rooms were sparsely and tastefully decorated and the bathroom was very clean with a double width shower. The food (we ate here every lunch time) was delicious. The club sandwich and various Gyros are especially recommended.
The hotel offers a shuttle intk Fiskardo itself, or there is a short cut past the tennis courts if you want to make your own way-take a torch!
The hotel is set on a cliff and the views are amazing, but even better is to walk down the path and find one of the many cubby holes and bean bag stops and just relax listening to the sound of the waves.
There are a fair few children here, but unless you hate children, they were just playing and enjoying themselves and did not detract from the overall experience. It does have more of a feel of a couples hotel though so it is a shame that they clearly needed to relax the "no under twelves" rule previously advised.
All in all it is a beautiful spot with every amenity I can think of catered for. I will certainly miss seeing the view!

Took some time to make a decision for our accommodation and followed the advice of other travelers, so we finally booked for one week. I was so thankful for doing a good search before booking. The hotel s location was fantastic, with it s small beach. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was friendly, food was good and prices reasonable. Rented a car and went around the area. Really enjoyed it. Thought to write a few lines, so that I can help other travelers make the right choice.

We visited this hotel for our family vacations. The hotel is located just a minute outside of the beautiful and picturesque Fiscardo, and right above Emblissi beach, with tirquoise clean waters . The hotel has an excellent service, very polite, warm people that will do everything to accomodate all your needs, especially if you are travelling with children. The design and ambiance of the hotel are fantastic, the location also unique, service exceeded expectations, food in the restaurants and breakfast are based on local produce and in variety, very representative of te Greek cuisine. It is also very close to a secluded hidden gem: Dafnoudi beach.
Overal impression is that we would like to go back. Soon....
