“Beautiful Views & Great Base for Exploring!”

My husband and I stayed in apartment 102 in mid September, and the apartment was good value for money.
For a small fee, Andrew & Sian had arranged a small welcome pack of food as we arrived quite late. On arrival we couldn't get the air conditioning to work (and thought it was just us pressing the wrong buttons) but found out afterwards that it needed re-gassing for which they apologised for, and said that if we'd mentioned it that they would have sorted out - you live and learn! Plus, the ceiling fan above the bed, along with the balcony door open were adequate for ventilation and cooling.
There were also problems with the WiFi whilst we were there, so Andrew offered a full refund and apologies.
There were stacks of guides and an information pack provided in the apartment, which were a nice touch to help us decide where to visit.
The place would be good for couples, with or without children. It's laid out with a galley kitchen as you walk in through the front door, a double bed as you enter the main part of the room, and a dining table in between a TV and sofabed at the far end. A huge built in wardrobe full of useful things (ironing board, first aid kit, duvet, safe etc.) is on your left as you walk out of the kitchen area, and the bathroom is in another room next to this. The balcony at the end is well equipped with seats and loungers, and was big enough to dry washing on as well. The furniture looks new and fits in very well with the Meditteranean location, and the décor is modern.

Peyia is the perfect place to stay if you don't want to be in the noisy touristy areas, and the location of the apartment was very peaceful, but was still within a 10-15 minute walk of the bars and restaurants in the village.
I'd recommend a car since the village is on a hillside, and although we never walked to the beach at Coral Bay, it took about 5-10mins to drive there. There's also loads of fantastic restaurants / archaeological sites etc. to visit within 30mins drive, and to make the most of your stay transport is a must.
I'm not a fan of swimming pools but this one was cleaned whilst we were there (we were told by a neighbour that this is a regular occurrence), and the only time I went down for a swim it was nice and peaceful. There are also plenty of sun loungers as well.
We didn't use any of the gym / sauna facilities so can't comment on those.

We stayed here from 29 July to 9 August. Good place in a low price.

• Very quiet place, away from noisy places occupied by tourists.
• The perfect place to relax and forget about everyday life.
• About 15-20 min walk to village center where you can find nearest: shops, supermarkets, taverns, pubs, etc.
• About 5 min walk to nearest bus stop (only 616 - route to Coral Bay). The last return bus from CB is at 16:30.
• We recommend to hire a car but if it's impossible you can buy a weekly ticket for all "Paphos Area" buses - cost: only 15 €.
• The Peyia village is situated on a hill - important when you going everywhere by walk.
• Nice pool outside (deckhairs and umbrella available). For most of the stay we had the pool to ourselves.
• Full equipped cozy apartament. Please note that all available beds are situated in one room.
• 12 € for internet connection.

We recommend it!

Liked best: Because Peyia village is just outside of the main tourist we found it to be much quieter than a costal resort, which is what we prefer anyway
Liked least: the only down side to this holiday w as the fact that you had to carry the sun loungers and umbrella to the pool side if you wished to use them.
