We arrived early afternoon and went to reception to book in. The staff were very pleasant and check in was quick. We were taken to our room and although it was a bit dated it was very clean. The view from our room was excellent. We had booked a sea view room, and it didn't disappoint. We were in the centre of the main part of the hotel, on the second floor. We found the food to be good with plenty of choice on most nights. We stayed for 11 nights and the meals were themed on a weekly basis. Each week the meals were the same on certain nights. There was some entertainment at the hotel, although not every night. We found all the staff very friendly. They really put themselves out to help. All the restaurant managers were very hands on, and prepared to clear tables if needed. The waiting staff were also very professional, especially when some of the guest were very rude to them. The Guest Services Manager Thomas was really nice. He made a point of speaking to guests, asking if they were enjoying their stay. My husband celebrated his Birthday whilst we were there, and a cake and a card was sent up to our room which was a nice touch. We found the gardens to be lovely, and the beach may have been rocky in places but we swam every day. We had a relaxing stay and the weather was very good on most of the days we were there. There was a little rain on one day, but it was still warm. All in all we had a relaxing stay, and hope to return next year.

Room Tip: Sea view room worth the extra money.

Nice hotel, but not 5-star. But is OK for the price we had from our travel agent. The hotel seems a bit old, but room was spacious and looked good with their blue-white colours. All staff was very helpful and friendly. Room cleaning was very good. In my opinion, not 5-star only because of food assortment. It was small choice of fresh seasonal fruits, some days there were no one sort of fresh fruits on breakfast, only fruit salads. Sometimes it was hard to find food for a child (e.g. during the Asian themed evening). But friendly staff offered us and cooked new meat without any spices for our child.
Hotel has private beach. It is small and not so good for a small child because of the waves and stones which you can meet in the water.
The Coral Bay - the most famous beach of Paphos is just 10-minutes walk away from the hotel. That beach is better for families with a little childs - the waves there are smaller and no stones, but there are a lot of people and the beach are not so clean in the second part of the day.
There are one more beach which meets interest of families with little ones. 5-min walk away from Coral beach hotel you can find amazing beach with quiet and small depth water and sand (Corallia Beach apt. hotel). There are a lot of sunbeds and umbrella which you can use for additional payment).
There was one more place in Coral Beach Hotel we loved - The Limani Taverna! Its general manager was very friendly, hospitable and helpful. He gave us all information we asked - recommend us Cyprus delights and explained where to buy the best from it.
What about the dishes - they was wonderful all times we visited that Taverna. Fresh fish, faultless meat and unforgettable desserts.

2 nights to explore the southwest coast of Cyprus.
Yes, rooms are large and view is terrific.
BUT
-at check in they give us a room just near the elevator. When i asked for another the arguments have been
Elevators are quiet and i have no other room
When i respond that if elevators could be silent-and it´s not true in fact- the people could be noisy...the respons has been : but we are not very busy at this time!!!
I thought there was no other available room ? I said and final respons : hgrrr hgrr we find you some room...
Finally the same but at the end of the aisle as far as possible/ elevator...
Service is average : some small paper from the precedent guest under the bed, a lamp bulb out, the coffee cups and glasses not cleaned day by day...no bath mat to go out of shower/tub...
Breakfast are correct.
For diner we choose not to take them here as on half board they allow only the Calypso's buffet and we preffer local meal...We are not in Cyprus to have a middle east diner...
On the prospectus they say there is an allowance for halfboarder in other restaurants but it has been us denied.
So could be great but need a huge amelioration in management

Room Tip: Far from elevator, sea side view

Food and drink outstanding branded labels no problem finding something different to eat every day, we had booked a room with a sea view well worth the extra money which was on the top floor. The only down side was getting up early for a sunbed where you wanted to be. The private beach? was rocky which I thought was dangerous regarding keep hitting them to swim out. The beach to your right looking out at sea was fantastic well worth a stroll. First Choice put us here because my original hotel was not built on time.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your review. We are pleased to have had the opportunity to welcome you to our resort and although you had booked to stay else where it is good to hear that you were overall very happy with the hotel, facilities, meals and of course your accommodation.

Coral bay the area the hotel is located is the only area in Paphos which offers natural sandy beach. We have noted your comments regarding the sea and we shall take appropriate action where possible.

Thank you again.

Kind regards,

This was our third time at the Coral Beach hotel. This time we took a room with a terrace. What a terrace and what a view! Much has been said already about the hotel, its great service, the many amenities, the clean and comfortable rooms, the tasty buffet. What we appreciated alot, despite the fact that the hotel was fully booked, that you did not feel crowds anywhere. Well, we arrived always late for lunch, but even then everything at the buffet was available. Nobody would ask us to leave our table, enjoying that lovely garden area, even after 11am. So much about staff, friendly, polite, helpful. It was my first time in Cyprus in October, 8 times before that during summer holidays. Temperature just perfect. Beach area was well visted, no problem to find sunbeds, there are plenty. Ah yes, the rooms with terraces have their own sunbeds. You really want to be private? Then these rooms are for you. There is even one with its own pool, maybe next time?? Middle Eastern dining special was awesome, especially the magic hands of chef Issa, preparing the best Falafel I ever had; besides the many other goodies there was. The trip was a birthday gift to my lady, and I definitely didn't want to mess with it, so I chose this place since I knew what to expect and get. Enjoy it. ... and don't forget to vist Yiannis Kathikas Tavern, needs a car, but the extra is definitely worth it. You'll find his review in tripadvisor as well.
I almost forgot ... dont miss the 50m olympic size pool. It was closed, due to the time of the year, but management had it opened for two hours during our stay, since I asked. Many thanks to the staff at the pool for their extra time making sure all is ok and management for giving us this extra service.

This is an excellent hotel. We booked a twin room with a mountain view and balcony on a bed and breakfast basis. The room was very clean and had a great view. We had fresh towels and bed linen each day. Buffet breakfast was first class. Great location for the beach, just a 2 minute walk down to it and plenty of sun loungers to go around. The spa is also great for having a little treat and very reasonably priced. There is a bus stop opposite the hotel with a regular service (every 15 mins) into Paphos. I wanted to go on a trip around Cyprus and to go scuba diving, the staff on reception were great, organising this all for me at a great price too! We had a late night flight back to the UK and so the hotel let us use a courtesy room free of charge for half an hour, so we could have a shower. This hotel really goes the extra mile for their guests especially the guest relations team who were always on hand to help anyway they could. I would recommend this hotel.

Took all inclusive option at this large but classy resort on our first trip to Cyprus and had fantastic experience along with teenage sons. Although now approx 20 years old, the facilities remained very fresh and clean throughout. Restricted dining options on all inclusive basis did not really matter as buffet restaurant was so varied. Excellent, attentive staff helped to make our stay so relaxed. Enjoyed gym and the all weather sports facilities too. Lovely landscaped grounds and nice beach, with easy public transport into Paphos city. Perhaps not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and certainly to be recommended.

Room Tip: Sea-facing rooms offer sound of gentle waves on beach at night.
