“Have to visit it!!!!”

Amazing site 45 km away from Rome! Back to the history, you will see over than 1000 tombs, carved in the rocks. My advice to u is to see the 3D film at the Mengarelli's media center and the videos in some of the tombs. ! It's better to buy the combined ticket and visit the museum in town!
“Incredible place!!!

“Incredible place to visit”
Reviewed 1 October 2013

Great multimedia film, once you follow the map to get there! Then have mini film experiences in three different tombs - fascinating. The Etruscans were quite amazing and being able to stroll through this village of the dead is quite something. Could easily spend a whole day there. Definitely buy the combined ticket and visit the museum in town, only down the road.

“Necropoli - too Expensive”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

Intersting, but costly (8 euro per person we were in 4), you see one grave you seen then all. lovely location. But the Romans do try hard to make Historic location very costly. Culture at a price.

“Great for explorers”
Reviewed 12 August 2013

This is the sort of place where children can learn about history in a fun way. The very friendly staff provide you with a map upon entry but we got a little lost as the grounds are so vast. The 3D short film was interesting and informative. We walked (ran) from tomb to tomb exploring every nook and cranny. A bit dusty so closed shoes would probably be best although we wore sandles and managed on the terrain. We visited on a hot day which meant 2 hours was all we could manage and sadly did not see everything there was to see. Signs posted outside tombs are in Italian and English, so helpful for tourists. Take a hat and a bottle of water and enjoy the outing.

What you learn in class is now in front of your eyes.
All the etrusque remains are thrilling but the mayor of Cerveteri must keep these historical places in bette maintenance
