We arrived very late to check in after a late flight. The reception staff were very helpful. Well located for driving to other parts of the region.
The rooms are comfortable and spacious with access to a small balcony area. Breakfasts were super with a great choice to suit every taste.
We'll be back

We arrived very late to check in after a late flight. The reception staff were very helpful. They said they would ask the bar to remain open for 15 minutes so that we could get a toastie and a drink once they'd shown us to our room.

The waitress who served us in the bar and then the following day at dinner was such a lovely, friendly girl. Emmanuela. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

The room was spacious and clean with a large, comfortable bed.

We had supper the following day and it was very tasty and reasonably priced.

The only negative thing I would say is that the swimming pool is all one depth and I'm not a confident swimmer. I would have been out of my depth so I could not
go in. Also some local teenagers were using the pool and they were running around, being very loud and a bit rude really. They kept doing bombs into the pool which put us, and the other guests off using the pool. A shame because otherwise we had a really pleasant stay.

Do go out and explore as the area is beautiful. Very mountainous with stunning views. The hotel is quite a long way out of town so it's best to have a car. The town has attractive, narrow streets.

So long ago but here we go...
My husband and I were looking for a relaxing place to stay. We definitely got that with Pausania Inn. I advise to have/rent a car to stay at this hotel, it will make everything much easier.
The staff is super helpful. They do their best to fulfill your needs. The place is great, nothing fancy but pretty and with everything you need. There pool area is great. You must respect the timetable but is open as long as the sun is out I guess.
We had a couple of issues with the room but this was deal promptly and professionally. The breakfast is ok... it has lots of options for a continental breakfast. Very delicious local cakes. The breakfast staff are also very kind. If you don't speak a few words in Italian it doesn't matter but don't complain and think "they are rude". All in all very good and definitely will go back.
The only let down is the food at the restaurant. Again, staff is kind and professional but the food was not very good.

The Pausania Inn is ideally located for exploring Northern Sardinia's beautiful coastline and surrounding area, and within walking distance of the lovely small town of Tempio-Pausania ( though I would recommend hiring a car to explore the area. We were surprised how quiet the Sardinian roads are, driving is really stress free)
It is very much a family run hotel. The rooms are of an adequate size, most with balconies, and are pleasantly decorated, and clean. The restaurant served us some really enjoyable meals, I would recommend the home made pasta dishes. Facilities include a pool to chill out in after a hot day's exploring, and there are even hammocks to snooze away a sunny afternoon. The staff are efficient and friendly. We had a problem with a broken blind, which was promptly repaired without a fuss.
Overall, a very enjoyable week's stay, and we highly recommend the Pausania Inn.

My wife and I have just returned from this delightful place, as others have said you do need a car but this does not detract in anyway from the location of the hotel. There are a lot of good hotels in the world but what owners etc. fail to realise in a lot of these establishments is that although they might be sat within stunning surroundings the greatest asset that they have is their staff and the staff at this hotel are amongst the best we have found anywhere in the world. To say that they were helpful and courteous does not do them justice and on several occasions they went above and beyond what one would normally expect and they greatly enhanced our visit.
