After a wonderful stay last year in The Petite Logis, we returned again with our fourteen month old daughter.
We have had a wonderful break and everything is perfect.
Obviously we have to stay put in the evening but as there is wireless and satellitet t.v, that's not difficult!
This year we stayed in the Gite Les Rosiers.
Its a lovely Gite with lots of character and really relaxing.
The grounds of Du Pressoir are stunning and there is a lovely pool.
If you don't know the area there is lots to see, our favourites are Chinon and The Gardens at Villandry.
This is a wonderful place to stay and Lisa and Mark do an amazing job of looking after all the guests.
Quite simply 10 out of 10!

Our third stay and as enjoyable as the previous two. A relaxing place to stay and yet bags of things for the children allowing them to let off steam. We stayed with extended family in three of the gites and had excellent BBQs whilst the swimming pool, football pitch and swings were magnets for the younger folk.
Mark, Lisa and Tom are great hosts who do everything possible to make your stay a real holiday. Hopefully we will be back next year if we can be fitted in.

We spent a brilliant week here in early September 2013 with our 1 year old daughter and friends with their 2 year old daughter. We stayed in le pressoir which was perfect for our needs and fully equipped with everything you could need for your stay.

The setting was lovely and peaceful and we often enjoyed a wine relaxing on one of the two outside seating areas once the children were in bed.

The outside facilities were excellent and we particularly loved using the pool which was never crowded and you always got a sunbed.

Mark and Lisa were always on hand to make recommendations for places to visit and eat. We would recommend a visit to Chateau Villandry and the next village Beaufort en Vallee for a visit to the patisserie.

There is lots to see and do on the doorstep and the supermarket is just down the road.

We would have no hesitation to recommend to friends and family a visit to Le Logis du Pressoir and the Loire Valley.

Thanks for a brilliant and relaxing week. Came home fully recharged.

We stayed for a week with our 2 year old daughter and friends who also have a 1 year old. Beautiful setting, perfect accommodation, Lisa & Mark were extremely helpful and always willing to offer advice on great places to visit. We were also extremely grateful for Lisa's help with finding a local doctor to see our daughter who unfortunately had tonsilitis whilst we were away. We have recommended to our friends that they stay here in the future and we certainly hope to revisit again soon. Suitable for families with young children, gite had all the required stair gates/high chairs/toys/ cot bed and plenty of outside space and toys to keep them occupied, we especially loved the swimming pool.

Everything you could need or ask for to have a really relaxing and easy holiday. The gite was well equipped with plenty to do on the grounds for children and adults . My 10 year old son loved the 5 aside football pitch in particular. Lovely walks in the surrounding countryside and easy to get to other parts of the Loire valley.
Lisa, and Mark were welcoming and always available for advice and help without being intrusive.
We all enjoyed it so much we are planning to return again next summer

This has been our fourth holiday here so it's fair to say we love it. Lisa and Mark always make us welcome and nothing ever seems like too much bother. They have given us ideas for places to go and willingly booked restaurants, riding lessons and wine tours.

The gite suites us, the environment works incredibly well for families and our daughter always come away with new friends.

If you want a quiet, relaxing holiday, with lots for the family, some wonderful history and pretty good shopping it's ideal.

The snail farms are also definitely worth a visit.

We have just returned from a week at this delightful gite in rural France, towards the Western end of the Loire valley. The owners Lisa and Mark could not be more friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. The accomodation is comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean and full of character, and there are nice touches such as welcoming provisions including some of the local wine. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with plenty of quiet places to sit and relax and the heated pool is perfect and never crowded. Hard to think of anything I would change here and hard to imagine anyone not having a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
