“Fabulous sea views”
Reviewed 22 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

We stayed 2 nights at this lovely apartment on the Weekend before Christmas The views from the living room are outstanding, I could have sat all day just watching the beach view. The apartment was very clean and tidy, a minimal style interior. Owner left a welcome pack which was a lovely touch of bread, milk, wine and some mince pies . It was very quiet and peaceful in the apartment block. Very restful. If you want to play golf there's the Machynys golf club 5min drive away. You can also have a meal here , non members welcome it's open to the public . If your not into golf you could try out the he spa facilities. Overall a great location to base yourself . Outstanding beaches around the Gower peninsula which is a 30 min drive away. Recommend - Langland bay and Rhossili in the Gower and Pembry country park with cefn siden beach just along the coast from the apartment a 15mins drive away from the apartment . If your into shopping head to parc trostre 5mins drive from apartment .
The only tip I could give the owner is to supply some spare blankets and leave instructions for the heating .
Note : the Apartment is on 3rd floor and there's no lift but believe me it's worth the Huffing and puffing to get to the top for the apartment is really lovely and it's worth it for the sea views.

“Quiet getaway in a clean modern apartment with nice seaside views”
Reviewed 6 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

A quiet seaside apartment where you can choose to be in solitude, getaway OR bring families (especially for young families) to enjoy a string of seaside activities cycling, running, walking, strolling, building sand castles or do nothing by the beach. Won't say it is a sandy beach with waters to swim, but pleasant coastline to walk and ponder. Pictures and information posted by owner on holiday lettings (by tripadvisor) are very accurate. Despite being on the top floor, the water pressure was superb even for a power shower. With no lift access, this apartment is only suitable for those with no issues of climbing stairs. The coastal park right at the doorstep , there is an information centre within steps where you can hire bicycles, get information and I think a cafe too. The property owner was extremely helpful. When he found out just before we arrived that one of the duvet was not cleaned to his satisfaction, he was honest to tell us and got it replaced within minutes of us checking in. We got lost on our way there and he drove to where we were and led us to the property. Apartment was clean and modern and the kitchen facilities and bathroom amenties meet our needs. ( No shampoo and shower gel provided but that's not an issue for us). Our needs were met.
It was a good and restful 3-night stay for us. One of the days we did nothing but sat by the balcony and watched the world go by. It was rather surreal for us to be at the seaside without the sound of breaking waves as the tide was out during our waking hours. At night it was so quiet and calm and looking out into the darkness from the balcony was a welcoming change from the hustle and bustle of city life. We chanced upon this property on tripadvisor holiday lettings as we chose to stay just outside Swansea. We are happy to have found this. Oh owner even provided a high chair for toddlers. The apartment met our needs.
Downside - need a car or at least a bike as it is away from shops and town centre. Secondly - not owner's fault though - the bath/shower. the design is such that water splashed out onto the floor despite a shower glass. Providing extra floor mat would be a welcome. Also having a mirror near a power point would be ideal while using the hair dryer. Apartment was secured with a common access door downstairs. But key turning to open it a little tricky due to wear and tear as it is common property for the residents of the building.

“Fantastic views, clean, convenient”
Reviewed 7 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

I cannot fault our stay at this apartment. The view was amazing, even though it was very poor weekend it was a pleasure to stay in and entertain ourselves much of the weekend. The apartment was very clean, we were delighted to arrive at 9.30pm and had some complementary milk, tea, coffee, bread and wine laid on.

A definite regular stay for us, which is a first. We are very picky !

“Excellent apartment within beautiful setting”
Reviewed 1 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Stayed for a short break over the bank holiday weekend.
Was very impressed with this lovely bright apartment with great views overlooking the sea. Very clean and spacious with everything that was needed for a relaxing stay. Comfortable clean beds, modern kitchen and bathroom.

Set within the Millennium Coastal Park, with beautiful walks and scenery.

Large retail park within 10 mins drive.

“Great apartment with glorious views”
Reviewed 1 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Located on the third floor so travel light, the apartment was clean & modern. The view from the balcony was wonderful & saw some glorious sunsets. Area quiet, beach not suitable for sunbathing but Caswell Bay just 30 mins away by car was by far the best beach for us. There were a number of cooking items missing but one call to the owner & the problems were quickly resolved. There is very little to do except walk or cycle so essential to have a car. We found two retail parks just a short drive away. Would recommend this place as a great base to stay but a must to have a car. Only BT customers WiFi so went to the Discovery Centre a short walk away to use their free Wi Fi.

“Lovely sunsets and sounds”

Lovely two bedroom apartment, with stunning views and gorgeous sounds of the waves rolling in.

Major retail outlets only a 5 min drive away.

Sandpiper pub and restaurant only 5-10 minute walk away along the coastal path.

Adequate parking.

3 flights of stairs to top floor so try to travel light.

Would definitely stay here again, and would thoughroughly recommend it to friends and family.
