We stayed at the Waggon & Horses the night before the wedding of our Niece. The reception was held at the Oak Barn Sandhole just across the road from the W&H. We were delayed on our journey but the W&H took the time to call us en route to get an ETA and kept the kitchen open to serve us supper. After the rigours of the M6 Carol (the landlady) and Kelly made us most welcome and revived us with a very friendly reception, a light supper and a couple of pints of excellent Robinson's 'Unicorn' -a life saver.
Food - home made.locally sourced (Carol's partner makes the Sausages - excellent!)
Beer - Well kept, good selection and reasonably priced.
Accommodation - comfortable, bright and clean.
Staff -Excellent with a high level of local knowledge.
A centre piece and community hub for the hamlet of Eaton. Lively country pursuits theme. I have no hesitation in recommending the W&H to all. I will return.More
