“Monday Steak Night, a must”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014 via mobile

6 hungry golfers from Yorkshire stumbled across Steak Night. The food was amazing, staff very friendly and value was brilliant. Really recommend the Gammon Broth starter and the superb Steak & Blue Bell Ale pie main. A second visit is on the cards during our trip.

“Won't be back!!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 August 2014 via mobile

We tried this place 3 times, last time a family meal for 11, the owner was very helpful but the staff let the place down!
They only put 8 meals into the kitchen, our burgers didn't have all of the toppings!
Now I here dogs can dine too, now I love my dogs but not in am eatery

“Downhill drastically”

Since changing owners the blue bell has drastically gone downhill. I will no longer go as the food and atmosphere are just not the same anymore.....such a shame

“Don't go”

Food was terrible. Cold a few people sent food back to the kitchen and even after being microwaved was still warm at best

“Burger Heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2014 via mobile

Visited the Blue Bells last night with a friend for the burger night. 2 'gourmet burgers' , 2 sides and 2 glasses of wine for £19.99. Excellent value. The burgers really were 'gourmet' I went for the Texas BBQ with pulled pork and it really was one of the best I've had! A nite to make is the side isn't the fries they come with the burger and you get to order another side! The presentation was excellent chips served in little tin buckets and the burgers on wooden boards. Excellent quality and value for money I will definatley be visiting again
