Lovely traditional fish and chip shop with good selection including huss, plaice, scampi and squid rings. Do not often get huss and plaice . Good quality

Good food. Some friendly staff, some seem to be sucking the lemons off the fish. Wide ranging menu, good portion size, if a little pricey. Eat in or out. Clean and well prepared tuck. Enjoyable, if a swine to queue and wait for.

Very good food, nice size portions, staff helpfully and polite, quite expensive average £9:00 a meal it good quality and well cooked. However the policy of charging. 35p portion for Hinze tomato sauce when your paying to eat in needs to be looked at.

We wandered all round Seaton looking for somewhere to eat on a Monday night. Nowhere was open that we could fancy entering for a meal. But everywhere we went, and all along the prom people were eating fish and chips from Frydays. Eventually we gave up and decided to have a takeaway and on arrival found that there was also a restaurant
We were met at the door and shown a table and a drink order taken. The food was served promptly and was excellent.
At the next table were 2 ladies who lived in the sheltered accommodation in the flats next to the restaurant who admitted they ate there every week, sometimes twice a week when they fancied not cooking.
Wish we lived nearer.

The fish and chips here are good, but not sure I'd say award winning. We had our best fish and chips of the holiday in West Bay at one of the shacks on the harbourside. We ate out, so not sure what the restaurant facilities are like. I thought they were a bit pricey for takeaway fish and chips, but then again there is a captive market there.
