This review is solely based on the hotel, not the restaurant.
We stayed here Friday to Sunday, visiting the area for my brother-in-law's wedding. The hotel is in a canny location, really easy to get to and was well situated for where we wanted to be that weekend.
Once in the hotel reception you see it's pretty average, nothing to sniff at, after all you're not going to be sleeping there!
Now to the rooms. The beds are comfortable enough. The one major point though, which I'm sure is down to the weather, is that the rooms were incredibly hot and stuffy. Unfortunately we couldn't open the two windows far enough to create a decent through draft as the flies would all pile in! The upstairs corridor window was left open all day and when we returned in the night there were hundreds of flies! Thankfully our room window was shut so we didn't have any.
So it's hot but you can't do anything about it!
Oh, and two family members in a separate room were kept up until the early hours of the morning by a lady taking men into her room. After creating a whole load of noises she left at around 5am so they got an hour or so of sleep. Make of that what you will.
I'd go again if they had fly screens, and because the restaurant attached is amazing.
