This is how I would describe our stay at Fraser Highlands recently. Sue and Jim made us feel like it was our home for our three night stay. The house was impeccably clean and tidy and had the most spectacular views. We only had to ask for something and they arranged for it to happen. The breakfast was fresh, wholesome and just what you wanted to line your stomachs before setting off to walk the Abel Tasman track. The muffins were delicious and Sue even shared her recipe.

Wow! What a view! We spent two nights in the cottage in mid February and loved the location, the privacy and the friendly welcome. We arrived in the rain and it continued to rain heavily all night. By the morning the clouds were clearing and Jim and Sue were as relieved as we were. They were genuinely keen for us to see their beautiful home as its best. The second morning was sparkling and we could look out for miles over the Abel Tasman area. We would certainly recommend Frazer Highlands for a stay in this lovely part of New Zealand.

Room Tip: We didn't see the other options but the cottage was a good size with beautiful views. It was very private as it was set away from the house.

Every man's home is his castle and Jim & Sue delight in sharing their castle with their guests.
We enjoyed all aspects of our stay from the "to die for views from the castles seriously elevated position" , the garden, wonderful personal attention, food, etc, etc.

We really did enjoy our stay and you most certainly will to.

We stayed in the cottage recently for three nights. We loved it. It was very comfortable, was well appointed and had lovely views. It had a lovely homely feel about it and we felt it was good value for money.
We have no reservations in recommending this to anyone who wishes to enjoy this part of New Zealand.

We will return one day.

We stayed here for 2 nights in November 2013 with 4 people. We had an adorable bedroom in the manor house, Jim and Sue's own castle! And 2 of us stayed in the cottage which view was even more stunning! Jim and Sue are wonderful hosts and make you feel like home! This place is heaven on earth!!! Renate, Frank, Wim and Fokko
