“Catamaran Day Trip Along Abel Tasman”
Reviewed 10 March 2013

Mike took us on a catamaran around the Abel Tasman Park coastline. Stopped at several beaches for walks. Saw sting rays, blue penguin, birds and seals. Sat by Adele Island in the quiet listening to the beautiful bird songs. Saw beautiful private sandy beaches and lovely sandy spit coming out from Adele Island. Weddings often take place on the spit, carefully orchestrated by the tides as they come and wash the spit away twice a day. Kayaking.

“Great way to explore the coastline of the Abel Tasman Park”
Reviewed 9 March 2013 via mobile

We spent a day (10am to 4pm) on board a small catamaran exploring the inlets and islands along the edge of the Abel Tasman Park. The skipper (Rod Stewart) ensured we saw some beautiful bays, largely empty of humans, and interesting wildlife including baby seal pups and penguins.

As well as picking great spots to stop along the coast for walking, swimming and kayaking and most importantly lunch; he made the trip most enjoyable by talking knowledgably about the area and it's history. We were a small party (4 people), but the boat is limited to 9 so you get plenty of opportunity to talk to Rod and ask questions. Ideal for people looking for the personal touch.

“The Best Abel Tasman Day Trip”
Reviewed 3 March 2013

On one of two excellent boats, this is the best way to view the Abel Tasman coastline and to also take the dingy into the beautiful beaches for beach and bush walks. The boats carry kayaks and you can snorkel and wim off the back of the boat. A gourmet lunch with wine is served aboard the boat which offers great views of the sights and surrounds of New Zealand's most enchanting park. The captains are professional and quite knowledgeable with some great stories. This is a full-day trip.

“Spectacular day with Rod”
Reviewed 10 May 2012

We were one of Rod's last tours before winter and had a spectacular day on his charter. He was the perfect host, the lunch was excellent and we truly enjoyed his company. Even though the weather was not perfect, he knew how to get the most out of our day on the water. I can't recommend this tour highly enough.

“Great Day on the Water”
Reviewed 25 March 2012

We spent the day on Rod Stuart's boat exploring Abel Tasman park. We hiked, kayaked, beachcombed and some of us swam. The water was a magnificent blue. Rod serves a great lunch and is an excellent penguin spotter. A beautiful way to see the park.
