Four and a half toddler included) of us travelled from nearby Upminster to peruse the antiques and crafts at Battlesbridge and decided to have lunch in The Barge. The menu was extensive and the food turned out to be of excellent quality, not cheap but worth the little extra. We were well looked after by our attentive waitress Abbey and her colleagues and the whole experience was one of a relaxed and mellow lunch with a very agreeable ambience. As we didn't see everything, hopefully we will be back and enjoy another meal.
