Had a lovely few days chilling in Waves... Our own beach, fresh food & the right amount of attention. Wasnt too expensive either considering how much other places cost.
Thankyou liji & the other guy who's name I can't remember.

We stayed in Arun and Seema place for a week during our first days in Kerala !

With Waves Beach Resort, we found the best place ever to rest ! The room is really big, very clean... We paid 2500 ₹ per day for 2 people including the room, the breakfast and the dinner !

The beach (it's like a semi private beach just down the little path) is actually at 20 meters from the room and that's the most beautiful place we stayed in South India !

Arun and Seema and all the staff here are really welcoming and we felt like home... The meals are really good, you have wifi in the room... EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!!! :)

If you can ask for a room upstairs and close your windows at night, cause we have an awful surprise one night : an Indian guy was watching us through the window, touching himself... We directly called Seema and everything was settled finally...But, ask for a room upstairs ! But this inconvenient is not related to the place which is a beautiful :) :) :)

Thank you Arun and Seema for the beautIful place you built and for your extreme kindness and welcoming ! :) We will come back for sure !

Room Tip: Just ask for a room upstairs ! :)

We stayed here for the last couple of nights at the end of our trip to Kannur. We particularly wanted the upstairs front bedroom which has a lovely balcony. The accommodation is good and there are steps down to a lovely cove where you can safely swim, the sea can be rougher on the long beaches. It's a Homestay and we think it would have worked better had there been one table for everyone to sit at rather than individual tables. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Front upstairs room is best

We arrived at Waves Beach Resort a day or two before Christmas Day - we couldn't have picked a better place to spend it.

We chose to stay in one of the beach bungalows which was spotlessly clean. The garden with hammocks and dining area were beautiful and the best bit was arguably the 'private' beach just a short scramble down the cliff.

Seema and her family are lovely and cook up some proper authentic Keralan food. It was really nice to sit out in the evening and talk to the other guests.

We would whole heatedly recommend Waves to any demographic of travellers.

Waves beach house is in a beautifully quiet spot just above a small beach, so you can sleep with the sound of the waves. The food is all excellent, and everyone helps to look after you. The most peaceful place, we wished we could have stayed longer than 5 nights.
(This was written before I saw the 2 recent bad reviews, and I cannot understand them: Seema was one of the nicest people I've met)
