This is not a luxury resort style hotel. It is however well situated, spacious, clean, safe, and dependable. It offers very good value for the money.
— Room costs ~US$70. That's between US$30-US$50 cheaper than the Mexico Plaza which is no better in quality than the Euro Inn – 4 out of 5.
— Extremely large gymnasium next-door, open Monday-Saturday. Hotel guests get a free daily pass. No pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, etc. – 3 or 4 out of 5.
— In room safe
— Rooms are simple but very clean, Bathrooms are very clean. Shower is very reliable – 4 out of 5
— I find the hotel to be extremely quiet in the evening; no problem getting a good night's sleep
— This is the best hotel Internet I've experienced in Celaya – 4 out of 5.
— Underground parking garage
— Hotel is very spacious
— There is a Convenience/Variety Store (7-11 style) and several restaurants across the street. To cross safely, there is a pedestrian bridge that goes over the thorough-fair.
— This is not a luxury 5 star hotel. There is no swimming pool, sauna, other luxury amenities on the property. Where this hotel makes their points with me is the extremely competitive rate compared to the peace of mind stay. I always felt safe in the hotel, was satisfied with the Internet, and felt that I was getting very good value for my money.
— If you're safety conscious, you'll notice that the fire extinguishers are contained underneath the ashtrays in the hallway… it's an odd arrangement.
As far as hotels in Celaya go, this is my recommendation.
