Pleasant rooms good wifi and good beer selection which was a bonus. The artisan shop near the hotel had a great selection of local craft beers Did not try the breakfast as we were out at 0700 but was offered a breakfast to take out

Super friendly hotel, spotlessly clean. The beds are a real delight, they have a fluffy mattress topper with fresh smelling good quality sheets. Spacious rooms with Separate loo and bathroom - handy if you choose a family room with a mezzanine floor.

We enjoyed the buffet breakfast which is 14 euros, but you get your moneys worth with lovely pastries, fresh bread, charcuterie, artisanal cheeses, yoghurts, fruit, eggs...... The list goes on!

Great location right next to the medieval gateway.

Really recommend the Au Velocipede for dinner just through the medieval gate - exceptional food, service and ambience.

Thank you for a lovely stay.

We were a group cycling from the UK to belgium and stayed in the Hotel Picarida for the second time in 3 years.
The staff were very helpful and the rooms a nice size with all facilities you would require.
Valery sur Somme is also a nice french town off the tourist beat and in easy reach of either Calais or Dieppe for a weekend break.

Individual comfortable rooms, helpful staff, local "bottle conditioned" bottled beer in bar, good location near Sunday Market, shops. Car park is small and a bit awkward for turning in but there is a car park opposite and one just round the corner. Breakfast at 14 euro wouold have been expensive if you weren't very hungry but there is a good range of breads, boiled eggs, cold meats, cheeses, jams, fruit and fruit juices and we wouldn't have got what we wanted for the price elsewhere in town.

Room Tip: Wifi wasn't very good in back rooms, road at the front wasn't that busy at night

Pleasant courtyard parking with flowers all looking attractive, inside I felt was mildly dated but acceptable, our room was large with separate bathroom and toilet. No shower screen, generally dated but clean. Perfectly adequate but expensive for what it was however average price for the area.

Very smart, nicely appointed, clean, comfortable: all that we were looking for in a one-night stop-over on our way back to the Chunnel from Brittany. However, there is a 10 Euro charge for using the small parking behind, which admittedly is secure. We would also have liked the hotel to have its own restaurant but fortunately there were quite a few eateries open nearby despite its being a Sunday evening. We were taken aback by the 16 Euro charge pp for breakfast and no-one seemed to be taking it. We had booked a room overlooking the garden at the rear but were given one facing the road, which is busy and noisy early in the morning. It also had the extreme disadvantage of cleaners coming in at 2:00 a.m (!!) and noisily cleaning the sitting room below. Plenty of better places to stay in this lovely fishing port.

Room Tip: Don't get a room facing the road and the estuary!

The hotel is easy to find but there is limited parking and you have to pay for it.A better idea is to unload and then follow the signs to free parking which takes out of the town past the hotel and eventually to a large car park .It is only 150 yards above the towncentre and takes you past some delightful cottages which are decorated with an amazing floral display. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. The greeting was friendly, though we found it easier to use the stairs than the rather old fashioned lift. The hotel is situated at the end of the town and is ideal to visit the old town, which is very pleasant and has lots of interesting notices about its history.Although the hotel does not provide meals other than breakfast, there are lots of places to eat in within a short walk. The breakfasts were good with plenty of variety, though I think hot chocolate and decaf fixated coffee should have been available. In fairness, there was a big range of tea as well as plenty of hot coffee. Finally do go go on the steam train to Le Crotoy. It is delightful!
