Stayed one night in the Yellow Room which is situated at the top of the house with large picture windows overlooking the garden and river estury beyond. Room is well appointed with a small single room leading off the main room. Decent sized bathroom with a double sink and shower.

Breakfast is around a large table - fruit, cereal, baguette, croissants etc. Car parking is in the large public car park (charges apply at certain times).

To be recommended

Room Tip: Yellow Room is lovely

First time in St. Valery sur Somme and we planned a stop there after motoring down from Worcestershire ... great choice !
We had parking close by and the 'yellow room' in the top of the house had a view of the river and the gardens and caught the morning sun perfectly from the large picture window.

First class bathroom (superb shower) and plenty of space in the room with large very comfortable bed.

Would recommend ... not cheap by any standards but great accomodation nonetheless ...

Room Tip: Hard to find initially - sat nav can miss it - keep looking

My wife and I have just returned from a 3 night stay here. The house is lovely and Paul and Barbara are great hosts. We stayed in the 'Yellow' room and it was superb with the bonus of great views. Breakfast (continental) was also excellent. Why is French bread so wonderful? Looking forward to going back.

We stayed here two nights during a visit to walk across the bay of the Somme. The English couple who run it have imported all the best aspects of British B&B practice: tea and coffee making in the room (the first time for us in a French B&B), plus proper tea and proper marmalade for breakfast (along with, it goes without saying, excellent baguettes and croissants). We stayed in the Brick room, with a lovely view and a well-equipped bathroom; comfortable bed, too. Other pluses: parking is easy (though it costs); Paul and Barbara give excellent restaurant recommendations; breakfast includes fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals; and it manages to be both quiet and brilliantly situated, nestled between the medieval old town and the promenade. Reasonably priced, too. Well done!

Room Tip: If you want the best views, go for the top floor (Brick and Yellow).

The owners and the excellent facilities together with local attractions gave us a thoroughly relaxing holiday. The small, but perfectly formed, Herbarium is very close; the promenade runs by the edge of the garden; the old town walls overlook the hotel; the local narrow-gauge railway (old steam and diesel engines) is nearby with trips round the bay to Le Crotoy; shops and restaurants abound and there's a weekly market. There are plenty of other places to visit within easy driving distances.

Room Tip: The 3 rooms in the annexe across the garden are provided with a central living area including kitche...

This little hotel was just great for a one night stop over in St. Valery which is a lovely little place. the room was spotlessly clean and very modern - a real bonus. The bedding was of a high quality and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast the next day overlooking the huge garden and through to the river was a welcome spread of croissants and bread and lovely jam/butter and cereals - top notch. We will certainly return to the Boisfontaine.

I have stayed in Boisfontaine a number of times now and would highly recommend this lovely B&B. Perfect spot overlooking the bay close to the town and with wonderful walks along the prom. The rooms are well appointed with tea and coffee making facilities and a delicious and substantial breakfast each morning. Hosts Paul and Barbara are so welcoming. I am looking forward to going back very soon.

Room Tip: All rooms are good, just depends on the number of people which one you choose.
