Having pigged out at lunch and with theh weather being very hot and sticky we decided that a light supper was in order. The previous evening we went to tthe No 1 rated restaurant in Le Mans and had an epic meal and decided that it had to be No 1 in St Valery.
We arrived just after seven, sadly not in enough time to secure on of the bay biew seats. The service was very friendly and we were soon furnished with our Galettes - I opted for the Norwegian which was very yummy. At this point, although suitable sated, I caught site of another customer Crepe flambee. Gluttony took over and I was soon tucking into a crepe Normandie flambeed in Calvados. Need I say more. Very reasonable and left to walk off the excess in this pretty coastal town
