Tempted to try this by the positive reviews. It's certainly a pleasant environment to eat in, but we were slightly disappointed by the food; maybe our expectations had been raised too high.
We both had the 16.90 menu, and this is definitely good value. My starter of salade de chevre chaud was excellent. For the main course I chose the salmon brochette which was very good & went well with the accompanying tagliatelle in a creamy prawn & mushroom sauce. However, it was also served with an odd assortment of vegetables which didn't really go with fish (or pasta); cauliflower, carrot & a macedoine of peas, beans & more carrot, all decidedly overcooked. Leaving them (which I did) felt like a waste; I'd have preferred a simple salad accompaniment, and would probably have then given a higher rating.
As it was lunchtime we confined ourselves to ice-cream for dessert. We enjoyed these, and the desserts we saw did all look very tempting.
