Stayed at Valentine Cottage for a weeks walking break recently.
The cottage is a very cosy, warm and well equiped old, traditional property that has all the ameneties one needs for a weeks holiday.
However there are one or two drawbacks one needs to consider before booking.
Parking is not easy. The cottage is situated on a lane that is wide enough only for 1.5 cars and passing parked vehicles is difficult. Easy parking is found a minimum of 150 yards away which might not suit some travellers.
The main drawback is the downstairs toilet and bathroom. The only way to access this room, is through the sitting room, through the kitchen, across a cold lobby and into the toilet, where the light switch is situated behind the door, which is not easy during the night.
This may be a consideration for some potential guests.
