Here at Hilton it’s really important to us that every guests feels cared for, thank you so much we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay.
Booked this hotel via trivago as me and my partner were visiting alton towers for his birthday about a 40 min drive we got a great deal with breakfast included plus I had read the reviews and my partner is a massive football fan as we pulled up the hotel is set in beautifull grounds with lots of free parking the hotel itself is the best hotel I've stayed in by far although we stayed in the hampton side rather than the hilton our room was lovely and clean nice comfy bed wall mounted toiletries aswell as a lovely big tv with all the sky sports channels which my partner loved apon check in the lovely manager Hayley informed us that we had been upgraded to the hilton for breakfast lovely touch aswell as a bottle of wine and personalised cake for my partner as it was his birthday really made his day we did eat in the resturaunt although expensive the quality of food is amazing well worth the money staff in the resturant wait on you hand on foot the decor is very football related but it is not to in your face its immaculately clean and the grounds are just simply stunning we stayed August bank holiday and was fairly quite lots of football teams but didn't hear a peep didn't use the pool or gym as lack of time but had a look at the pool and it looked lovely can honesty say the staff here made my partners birthday really speacial and will defiantly be back in a few months thank you
It’s so nice to hear that you enjoyed your special stay with us, thank you also for your kind comments regarding our team members and especially Hayley, we will share your feedback with them.
Once again, thank you for your review and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Hampton by Hilton at St George’s Park very soon.
I took my partner for a 2 nights stay at this Hilton Hotel for a birthday surprise and visit to Alton Towers which is about 25 minutes away. Please DONT stay here unless you are a football fan!! I didnt research this obviously as we were very surprised as the whole hotel was football themed! Even the bar has an enormous screen playing nothing but football.
The Hotel was extremely clean and new but lacked atmosphere. The air conditioning was always on and much too cold in the restaurant, lobby and bar (so take a jumper or wrap)!
The spa/pool etc was beautiful and clean.
we stayed in an executive King room which was very big but again lacked atmosphere .. cant say why but just needed something extra?! Bed was very comfy and bathroom had bath and a shower cubicle.
We ate in the restaurant saturday evening and the food was excellent.
Breakfast was plentiful with all the usual food you would expect to have. But breakfast was not included in our room rate. we payed £10.00 per person which was good value.
so all i all, if your a football fan and have a huge wallet then go for this hotel.
We just think that this Hotel was not good value for money and wouldnt stay here again.
Thank you for taking the time to post your review on Trip Advisor, following your recent stay at the Hilton, St George’s Park.
I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy some aspects of your stay, your constructive feedback is very much appreciated.
However it’s good to know that you enjoyed your visit to the Spa and Restaurant and that your room was comfortable.
Once again we appreciate your review, and we do hope we have an opportunity of welcoming you back to the Hilton at St George’s Park in the near future.
Stayed here for 2 nights with family of 4. Very smart hotel with large luxurious rooms, tight security, friendly and professional staff, excellent food - but what you would expect for the price. The pool, gym and spa are excellent and included for all guests; as is the Executive Lounge if you have access to it (linked to the type of room you book). The only thing I could fault is a wait of 1 hour for room service but we were informed of this so bought our drinks at the bar and simply took them upstairs ourselves to avoid the wait.
Breakfast very good and you can order waffles, fresh croissants and omelettes. There is an all day menu and good restaurant in the evening (advisable to book).
Check out was at 12 noon but no limitations on using the spa facilities for the remainder of the day.
Thank you for your wonderful comments, to say we are one of the best is such a lovely compliment.
Very good overnight stay.
Staff forgot to make up the sofa bed in our room and only had one big towel for three people but this was all quickly rectified.
Room very nice.Wifi worked well.Toiletries wall mounted.
Breakfast was better than expected after an ok experience in a Hampton in New York.
Stayed at bank holiday time and hotel seemed very quiet. Some football teams present and when you see the young people around and when they are playing table tennis I thought we were in an upmarket youth hostel.
Luckily we did not hear any commotion from the youngsters in the corridors late at night.
Hotel is modern and clean but big and not homely.
If you are a Hilton honours member then you can use the better Hilton gym rather than the Hampton one.
Overall enjoyed our stay and handy for our visit to Lichfield and the national memorial arboretum
Many thanks for your review on your recent stay at the Hampton by Hilton, St George’s Park, thank you for your constructive feedback, and we are pleased you enjoyed your time with us.
We booked this hotel as a treat for an overnight stay for our wedding anniversary. We were upgraded on check in to the executive lounge for canapés and help yourself to drinks from 6- 8 pm. Our room was lovely and large, with a most enormous bed, which was very well thought out in layout and design. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was lovely, but room has very high ceiling which makes it seem cavernous. Breakfast the next morning was lovely and tasty and unfortunately due to lack of time we didn't have the opportunity to use the swimming pool and other facilities. I think the service from staff could do with small tweaks. For example when sitting in the exec lounge we had drinks and trying to negotiate stairs in heels with a drink in hand was interesting, it would have been thoughtful to have been offered the opportunity for staff to take the drinks to the restaurant on our behalf. Would I stay here again ? Definitely.
Thank you for your review and congratulations on your wedding anniversary, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us.
