We stayed at this charming Hotel after 3 in Venice. The rooms are adequate and comfortabel but we, unfortunately, were given a room on the front of the hotel on the 2nd floor which was rather noisy.
The main reason for our visit was to sample the delights of the delicious food. We were encouraged to eat rather earlier than we would have liked . However, the charming Patron went to so much trouble explaining what they had to offer. I only wish we had not spent 3 days and nights in Venice eating Fish. . I had raw and marianaded shellfish and my husband cooked. Wonderfully fresh. I had grilled baby cuttlefish which were quite the best I have ever tasted. Homemade pasta also faultless and perfect deserts.

Went here with 4 business colleagues and had a great meal.

The restaurant is next to the Brenta canal which runs from Padova to Venice. There is car parking in the restaurants car park but it's a bit tight to get out at the end of the night so park next to the canal instead.

As you walk in there is a small bar area and then you walk through to the main restaurant - which is relatively small. We had ordered a small private room which was just right for the 5 of us.

We had the seafood selection which basically was around 10 courses of great food. The many courses of antipasti were superb - mostly raw fish and seafood. By the time the excellent risotto and cooked fish main course and then the typical carnivale desserts we were all full - but the food was so good we had to keep going!

A really great fantastic meal and now my favourite seafood restaurant in the area.

The seafood was excellent. We appreciated the "artistic" quality in the presentation of the various courses. The service was friendly and responsive to individual requests.

This is our 'special occasion' restaurant - from the intimate dining rooms, the excellent personal service and the amazing dishes their chef produces - It is the perfect dining experience ! Right now they have beautiful christmas decorations up, including a nativity scene - totally edible. The dishes are incredibly tasty, a new starter included 'sea bass' served on roasted fennel, or an amazing soup but my all time favorite is the mixed fish lasagna .....

Whle driving from Soave to Venice we traveled along the scenic river road and happened upon the Villa Goetzen Hotel and Restaurant around lunch time. At first we thought we might not get in as they asked if we had reservations and they were expecting a large party for lunch. However, we were led to a table and without ordering we were provided with Proseco, bubbling water, and a variety of breads and hors dòuvres. This was even before we received the menu which made us a little apprehensive as they do serve a Pranzo style meal which is basically a daily house special for a fixed price. Fortunately we were given menus and we both ordered different dishes. The meals were tasty and fortunately not overly plentiful as we had plans for a full size evening meal in Venice. The decor is a little dated for our tastes, but it matches the decor of the hotel with a number of smaller rooms serving as separate dining areas.
