The hotel is simply perfect; it is within a 7 min drive from Disney; yet the rate is like 50 Euros less per night from the hotels in Disney area, and 1/3 the rate of Disney hotels. There is a shuttle bus (no. 50) that you take from in front of Hotel Elysee. The trick is the shuttle bus is not for free (2 Euro per person); it is for free only for the guests of certain hotels, Sejour is not one of them. However in only few cases the driver will ask you about your hotel. The bus is frequent early in the morning (from 9:00 am) and late at night (from 11:00 pm), which are the times of opening and closing of Disney park. The hotel is reachable via RER line A, at Val D’Europ Station. You can use the same train to go to Disney (only one station away). The hotel rooms are very spacious and include a microwave and kitchen cutlery. You can buy all your stuff at good prices from Auchan super market at Val D’Europ; a mall within a 4 minutes walking distance. The hotel provides room services (cleaning and changing towels) at a 17 Euro flat rate per stay. In conclusion the hotel is a perfect choice if you want to enjoy Disney at an affordable budget; even if you add the cost of the shuttle bus (which can be used for free in many cases), still it will be overall a good deal.

It has been great to stay in this hotel for two nights. Though the equipments were a bit in ages, the bed was comfortable at least. It's very clean and in a good value. I am really appreciative to have stayed in this convenient place.

Let me start by saying that the 5 nights we stayed here, it rained constantly. And our children became unwell (though this wasn't anything to do with the accomm). We got to see our room a lot...

So here is my attempt at being objective.

Positive points:

* We thought the best thing about the accommodation was the staff. They were always helpful, polite and provided a great service. To our relief they also spoke very good English. One receptionist even telephoned and ordered us a pizza!

* The location was also a positive factor. It was a 10-15 minute ride to Disney and the bus was always prompt. It was also within a 5 minute walk of Val d'Europe with its hundreds of shops and amazing Auchon supermarket. See tip below.

* A good priced room for its size with pretty good facilities. Everything was there that was needed eg saucepans, cutlery, crockery etc. You really do not need a kettle - we think this is a bit of a needless gripe. Just fill up a saucepan and put a lid on; The water heats up in no time. The room was also clean when we arrived.

* The wifi saved our bacon on many occasions but it can be a bit temperamental.

Negative points:

* We found the beds very uncomfortable especially the fold out bed in the lounge. None of us slept well over the 5 nights (and not just because the kids weren't well!). The pillows on the bed felt like they were inflated. Never experienced anything like them and hopefully never will again.

* The rooms could get very stuffy. It was good for us to be able the windows wide (though parents of younger children will have a bit of a problem here). We tried leaving the windows open at night but next to the back of the accommodation they seem to be doing some sort of construction work on the building opposite. At 3am. It could be silent one minute and the incredible sound of metal scraping the next! Don't know what was going on there but we couldn't be bothered to ask to move to the front of the building.

* Although the rooms were clean when we arrived, it really did need some TLC. There were scuff marks on the walls and a small crack in the bathroom tiles amongst other things. And when the cold tap in the bathroom was turned on a screeching sound could be heard in the bedroom. Oh and our safe was broken but the receptionist was happy to look after our belongings in theirs.

We've rated this accommodation as very good not for what needs doing but for what was there and the price we paid.

Room Tip: * Try and get an accommodation at the front of the building. * Request lower floors with smaller ch...

We have stayed in this hotel last weekend (from Friday to Monday) in a 1-bed apartment on the second floor (apartment nr 224).
The hotel was quiet with plenty of amenities nearby (big supermarket next door to equip yourselves in food for Disneyland, a shopping centre, bars and restaurants nearby).
The kitchenette area is well equipped, just a kettle missing :(
Very friendly staff.
Excellent choice for a budget trip to Disneyland, we will definitely come back.
Price: €190 for 3 nights (3 people)

Stayed here one night mid week June 2014 prior to a holiday at Disneyland Paris, for which we'd booked an on-site hotel. The plan was to make the most of our Disney holiday by arriving early morning fresh from this nearby hotel and to avoid big disney hotel prices for a day when we had only a few hours to 'play' following eurostar arrival.

It worked in the sense that the appartment-hotel was cheap (under £50) in a quiet and pretty but very convenient location, easily enough room for myself and daughter, helpful staff and a vending machine for essentials, good access, good lift, not overcrowded. However the roomed seemed to us to be bleak and boxy - think cheapest possibly flat pack furniture - the kitchen was ill equipped and falling to bits, we couldn't work the air con or wifi on arrival although didn't bother chasing this up with the hotel for such a brief stay. Overnight we slept very poorly - noisy water tank next to us refilling every few minutes and lots of general noise as well. We found the beds and pillows very hard, although some would like this I guess.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel or use the kitchen properly. We ate out in the evening and bought a few bits for breakfast in the nearby supermarket. I wouldn't have wanted to cook in that kitchen anyway. Took a travel kettle with us for early morning drinks having worked out that there'd be none provided.

Hotel staff pleasant, spoke English for us if we wanted that, and check-in/out was easy. Train to and from the Disney Parks easy, fast and frequent, and my non-French speaking daughter worked out the ticket purchase (machine, gives change) and platforms in minutes.

On the whole it did the job and stretched our budget, but we were glad to leave the place, glad that our plans for the day meant spending very little time in the room, and would not go back.

A good place to stay location wise, just a short train journey from Disneyland (cheaper than the bus) - especially if you buy a book of 10 train tickets. Train station is a 5 minute walk away.

Apartment is very small, kitchen especially so. Only get 2 hobs and a microwave - and no kettle or toaster! Had to boil water to make a drink, which was quite difficult as the markings on the hob dials had worn off!

Rooms are not cleaned unless you pay for the service.

Breakfast is expensive at 8 euros each (4 for kids) so didn't take up that option.

Vast shopping centre nearby with a huge supermarket. Also there is an aquarium nearby which is expensive and not very good value for money - best book online in advance (vastly cheaper)

If you go to Paris with children, you can book a cheap unlimited travel card for them from the terminals inside the station called "ticket jeunes" available on weekends and bank holidays.

For convenience I also booked a TGV from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Disneyland Paris (takes 12 minutes - Cost was 40 euros (2 adults, 1 child)) then a local train to Val de Europe.

Room Tip: Catch the train to disneyland 1.70 euros (or 1.30 euro if you buy 10 at once) - half price for under...

We stayed here for one night en route to Disneyland (only one short train stop away). It was quite basic, and could do with some repairwork. The kitchenette was ok, but lacking a kettle! Odd given that they provided tea/coffee. The kickboard under the sink in the bathroom fell off, the sanitry bin lid in the bathroom was also broken and we got a lot of street light in through the curtains in the bedroom. The bathroom shower was also pretty weak.

Basically, a cheap stay but I would still expect better facilities.
