“Sneaky wee DLP trip for birthday girl!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

My daughter aged 11 and I spent 3 nights at this hotel on a surprise trip to DLP for her birthday! Looking for reasonable accommodation given that we had already been on holiday and that was exactly what we got.
Staff were incredibly helpful, printed off boarding passes for our return flights for us. Room was basic, clean and perfectly adequate for what we wanted....somewhere to sleep.
Ideally situated for the large shopping centre and ReR station a couple of minutes walk and regular trains right to Disney taking a couple of minutes.
Didn't spend great deal time in Val D'Europe but pleasant and felt v safe walking around even later at night!
Would definitely recommend as good budget accommodation in great location!

That apartment was clean, small & grand for the price, had a few extras like bedroom slippers & shower gels & kitchen extras like Tea, coffee washing liquid etc.... which came in handy, cleaning was only once a week & you had to get rid of rubbish yourself..... was a bit wary of the large openings in the windows with 2 two small energetic boys........ great free shuttle bus no:50 to Disneyland, the shopping was fantastic with the play areas... the reception was very helpful printing out the rer & metro routes for our planned days out in Paris city, otherwise would have been an nightmare as the train station was not near as helpful.......overall it was grand

Room Tip: downstairs apartments have balconies......

My friend and I spent one night in this hotel. We went to visit Disneyland and it was the cheapest option available. But it was very comfortable, the location is great, one RER train stop away from the park, the room was small and with a kitchen. We had an unfolded couch in our room, which squeaked but was very comfortable to sleep on. We had troubles with the wifi, it did not show up on the Iphone and kept on timing out on the android and required a lengthy registration with a phone number confirmation. I wouldn't count on the wifi too much if I went there.

We had shampoos in the room and also a tea kettle, and slippers, clean towels. They clean once or week or so, therefore the hotel is perfect for short time stays. It's a great option if you just need to spend the night and then spend the whole day outdoors exploring.

I spent 2 nights in a 4-people studio. A bit tiny, though convenient in facilities and location: near train station Val D'Europe, surrounded by shopping malls, a budget supermarket and bus and train lines straight to Eurodisney. People at the apparthotel are nice and efficient. Prices are much cheaper than inside Disney village.

The hotel is simply perfect; it is within a 7 min drive from Disney; yet the rate is like 50 Euros less per night from the hotels in Disney area, and 1/3 the rate of Disney hotels. There is a shuttle bus (no. 50) that you take from in front of Hotel Elysee. The trick is the shuttle bus is not for free (2 Euro per person); it is for free only for the guests of certain hotels, Sejour is not one of them. However in only few cases the driver will ask you about your hotel. The bus is frequent early in the morning (from 9:00 am) and late at night (from 11:00 pm), which are the times of opening and closing of Disney park. The hotel is reachable via RER line A, at Val D’Europ Station. You can use the same train to go to Disney (only one station away). The hotel rooms are very spacious and include a microwave and kitchen cutlery. You can buy all your stuff at good prices from Auchan super market at Val D’Europ; a mall within a 4 minutes walking distance. The hotel provides room services (cleaning and changing towels) at a 17 Euro flat rate per stay. In conclusion the hotel is a perfect choice if you want to enjoy Disney at an affordable budget; even if you add the cost of the shuttle bus (which can be used for free in many cases), still it will be overall a good deal.

It has been great to stay in this hotel for two nights. Though the equipments were a bit in ages, the bed was comfortable at least. It's very clean and in a good value. I am really appreciative to have stayed in this convenient place.

Let me start by saying that the 5 nights we stayed here, it rained constantly. And our children became unwell (though this wasn't anything to do with the accomm). We got to see our room a lot...

So here is my attempt at being objective.

Positive points:

* We thought the best thing about the accommodation was the staff. They were always helpful, polite and provided a great service. To our relief they also spoke very good English. One receptionist even telephoned and ordered us a pizza!

* The location was also a positive factor. It was a 10-15 minute ride to Disney and the bus was always prompt. It was also within a 5 minute walk of Val d'Europe with its hundreds of shops and amazing Auchon supermarket. See tip below.

* A good priced room for its size with pretty good facilities. Everything was there that was needed eg saucepans, cutlery, crockery etc. You really do not need a kettle - we think this is a bit of a needless gripe. Just fill up a saucepan and put a lid on; The water heats up in no time. The room was also clean when we arrived.

* The wifi saved our bacon on many occasions but it can be a bit temperamental.

Negative points:

* We found the beds very uncomfortable especially the fold out bed in the lounge. None of us slept well over the 5 nights (and not just because the kids weren't well!). The pillows on the bed felt like they were inflated. Never experienced anything like them and hopefully never will again.

* The rooms could get very stuffy. It was good for us to be able the windows wide (though parents of younger children will have a bit of a problem here). We tried leaving the windows open at night but next to the back of the accommodation they seem to be doing some sort of construction work on the building opposite. At 3am. It could be silent one minute and the incredible sound of metal scraping the next! Don't know what was going on there but we couldn't be bothered to ask to move to the front of the building.

* Although the rooms were clean when we arrived, it really did need some TLC. There were scuff marks on the walls and a small crack in the bathroom tiles amongst other things. And when the cold tap in the bathroom was turned on a screeching sound could be heard in the bedroom. Oh and our safe was broken but the receptionist was happy to look after our belongings in theirs.

We've rated this accommodation as very good not for what needs doing but for what was there and the price we paid.

Room Tip: * Try and get an accommodation at the front of the building. * Request lower floors with smaller ch...
