My boyfriend and i went on an impulsive trip to Guimaras from Iloilo and we ended staying in Raymen Beach Resort. It was quite expensive for us, since the only room available was good for 3 persons (and they were the only resort with an availability when we got there). But for planned trips, it could be affordable. The rooms are decent, low-ceiling, and clean. The bed sheets and pillows smelled a bit with bleach, but that's fine. The food in their canteen is good, and, yeah, they don't offer free mangoes. Guimaras is home to the sweetest mangoes, so you'll have to buy to be able to know how good it tastes. The beach stretch is really small, and it is very crowded, especially if you decide to stay there on a weekend and take a dip in the day time. If you want less crowd, you can take your swim in the evening.
Transportation is really rare, so if you're planning to go to Guimaras and stay at Raymen, it's best that you call them first OR schedule your boat trip to the island earlier. There's a customer service helpdesk that will aid you once you reach the shores of Guimaras.
