Coming from Scotland , we font have much access to outdoor swimming pools , so , as we were going to Somerset , I done a bit of research and found this one. My wife and I went with our two daughters aged nine and twelve. We arrived at ten o clock for it opening and there was already a queue forming. For the four of us it was in the region of £20 , which was great value as we stayed till half past three. We took a packed lunch , as there are plenty of grassy areas to set your towels and bags down. By about half eleven the place was mobbed. Lifeguards were very on the ball to ensure safety. Small cafe on site selling coffee and snacks. Changing facilities and toilets were spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to go back.

Great pool, well managed and safe. Plenty of shade on the grass from the trees if needed. Nice little shop, and access for wider menu to be delivered.

If you come to a Street, you must visit the amazing outdoor pool! Beautifully clean and so welcoming. A great pool for young children and a fantastic large pool for older children and adults. The splash area for little children is excellent too! Lots of space to sit out and have a picnic, making it a great family place to visit. The lifeguards are brilliant and very vigilant. A great amenity for the local area.

Gifted by Alice Clark to the village in 1937, Greenbank Pool is still going strong. Local rumour has it that last year was the first year Greenbank ever ran at a profit.

It has a café which is well stocked with swimming essentials, such as goggles, suncream, drinks and icecream. The pool is mostly staffed by enthusiastic local teenagers who can be seen busily sweeping pathways and emptying rubbish bins. My favourite thing about this pool is that there is always a number of lifeguards on duty, who seem to be quite switched on and do actually appear to pay attention to the people swimming.

There is a slightly grumpy manager person who is best avoided and he's also not massively computer literate if you try to buy a season ticket. That is the only remote downside to this place, as otherwise it is a really amazing find in the middle of the high street.

Ideally, try going there in school hours after 12 noon if you can as otherwise it's so popular you won't be able to swim so much as bob in your own small square of water.
