great location near train station, if one wants to change trains between fuji area and shinkansen line. Spa and sauna is perfect and there is a lot of complimentary stuff like free ramen, laundry machine and ice machine. We came here after climbing fuji and left totally relaxed!

I stay in this hotel on last year dec. Someone ask me where to stay in mishima, I recommend this hotel to my friend. Today I only know I did not comment about this hotel in tripadvisor. I think I should comment it because this hotel is so good. We going to Yeti for skiing on last year dec. We only stay 1 day, we take the bullet train from shinagawa and reach the mishima station. Just only 5 to 10 minutes walking distance can reach the hotel. Because is too early around 8 am, so will leave the luggage at the counter. Then we take the bus to yeti Snow. We come back about 6pm, then the room is ready. We go in to the room and faster try on onsen on top floor. I go with my two kids, 7 years and 4 years old. Then my wife is separate onsen. First the water is too hot for my 4 years old kids. He did not want to try , but he saw us so enjoy it he also jump in. But can not soak for too long , we only did 10 minutes and go for bath. Then we go back to the room, because too tired. I going out alone for take away some food. However it look like most of the shop was close, some shop may be not suitable for kids too eat. I remember the lobby got ramen provide. So I back to the hotel and call my wife and kids come down. May be is too hungry, the ramen is so delicious, I eat too bowl. The beauty is free. NExt morning when we wake up, we can see the mount Fuji on the windows, we try 1 more onsen in the morning. Then we check out. Near to the Mishima station, there is a bakery shop. The bread food is so nice. Must try it. Definitely will stay in this hotel.

The hotel is one of the biggest in Mishima, only 10 minutes walking to the train station.

We planed to go to hotel in Fuji Mt but hotel there was too expensive, and we found out Dormy inn. This hotel has excellence design, room space , bathroom, spa for free and super helpful staff ( I forgot to ask name of the you women at reception but she is one of the best).

The view from hotel is awesome. Washing machine is free.

From this hotel, you can catch the bus to Fuji san and Hakone or walking around.

The breakfast is abundance of dishes, but not really delicious to me.

Stay in this hotel, you will really relax and like to stay more.

My wife and myself stayed in Dormy Inn at Mishima for 2 nights, the initially purpose was to visit Mt. Fuji and it's one of the closest place to get to and from. After reading about the onsen being available and it's an experience that is recommended when in Japan. I went and booked it and I must admit. It's the best hotel experience we have ever been to, the initial night was difficult because we had to remove all clothing but the second night it feels normal. The best part is that the onsen is only available to all who are staying at the hotel so both nights there were about 3 others in there with me.

The south side of Mishima is where all the food stores and Dormy Inn is about 3-5 mins walk away. I will definitely go back there next time I am going to stay in Mishima. When we booked with had breakfast and WIFI as part of the room.

Room tip: Request the room on the north side of the hotel for view of Mt. Fuji Onsen Onsen Onsen.

We mostly stayed at Dormy Inns throughout our trip to Japan (4 weeks) and were never disappointed. Again, this hotel delivered and made our stay enjoyable. Rooms were clean and comfortable, amenities great in the hotel - laundry, microwave, tea/ coffee making facilities etc. Wifi worked well. Great onsen in which we were rewarded with a fantastic view of the clouds parting over Mount Fuji, giving it a mystical feel. Location good and not far from the train station. Great hotels for those on a budget.
