Just a chippy. Food well cooked, hot and tasty. Needs some better organisation for customers when busy. Fish is not cooked until ordered, and orders are announced by staff when they are cooked. We waited for thirty minutes after placing our order and paying.
What it needs is a ticket, numbered wooden spoons or some other system to ensure that customers get their food in the correct order. When we visited someone had jumped the queue, claimed an order and left, before the correct customer knew what was happening.
The wall menu just says "Fish" so when staff were asked what "Fish" it was, there was a short debate as to whether it was haddock or cod. The fish and chips is priced at £6.20
