I was visiting Chalfont St Giles lunch time 10th December 2013 with my mum as we had an appointment at the epilepsy centre and came across the pub even though we have been going up there for years and only just found it.
Stuart greeted us and even though they had a big Xmas party going on they still accommodated us, Daniel too was very helpful, we are already looking forward to our next visit, didn't know there was talent outside of London

We stayed here for one night as a friend was having a party in the pub. After reading the reviews we weren't expecting much but the rooms were clean and beds were comfy. The staff were great and the service so friendly. We had dinner in the pub before the party, which was great and we all met for breakfast in the morning which we all agreed was a great way to start the day. Will definitely stay over again when visiting friends.

Room Tip: The superior doubles have more room and are quieter.

Stayed for 4 nights ended up staying 6 ! We stayed in room 5 which was very big and clean small issue with bathroom , which was rectified after telling Stuart ! All the staff at The White Hart Inn were excellent and Stuart was very informative with places to visit and routes to take ! We travelled in to London on 3 occasion,s by using the tube at little chalfont parked the car there at a reasonable rate ! Then straight in to Baker St ! We ate in the white hart on several occasion,s Jack recommend the belly pork which was very nice ,curry was good also the create your own burger was nice !
We have stayed in Old English Inns on several occasion,s and if there was some money spent on updating the rooms i would be rating it at the TOP ! Because all the STAFF are EXCELLENT

My wife's family live in the village, but this is the first time we have use the White Hart. Following a family function within the White Hart itself we stayed overnight in the annex building with a double room on the first floor within the eaves of the building. It was fantastic, bed extremely comfortable, ensuite bathroom clean and with all facilities. Then the morning breakfast lovely lovely.

A great hotel that we will use again.

We also use the restaurant for an evening meal, very good and very competitively priced, starter and main £7.95.

Room Tip: Their rooms go quickly so don't delay in booking. Also the village of Chalfont St Giles is a bea...

I moved to Chalfont two weeks ago and invited my daughter, niece and friends over. We went for dinner on Sunday 27th October. I have never been in such a cold bar. We asked the barman to turn the heating on which he said he had. We had a 10 month old baby with us and were concerned about the temperature. After 30 mins heating hadn't come on. The chap behind the bar said he had spoken to the manager and it should now come on. We were debating whether to order food or not or go back to the Village Hall which is a short distance from the White Hart. In the end we did order food and I have to say the food and service was really good. My sister rang while we were there and her family were going to join us I had to put her off because of how cold it was. We sat in our coats the whole time which wasn't particularly comfortable. It would put me off going again - saying that - five mins before we were leaving the heating actually came on. Have to compliment the chap behind the bar - running round taking orders etc. He had only been working at the White Hart for a week but his customer service skill are a credit to their organisation.

Room Tip: didn't stay at hotel.

Stuart and the team are glad you took your time to visit the White Hart. I am sure that the heating will be on next time you visit, with the added bonuses of the fires being lit at this time of year. We are sure that if you visit us again, the atmosphere and temperature will be to your liking. Stuart and the team thank you for your kind comments and we hope to see you again soon

I stayed in one of the rooms in the block at the back. It's a mainly wooden building so you can hear footsteps of people coming and going, but it was clean and warm. I slept well and the staff were friendly. I had sloping ceilings which made it feel a bit smaller but with only me there it was fine. Didn't expect anything more and it delivered what was expected. Food was good and at a good price too.

We stayed with friends in 2 rooms in the cottage annexe. Although the entrance hallway of the annexe was in need of redecoration, our rooms were clean and well equipped with very comfortable beds. We ate in the restaurant each evening and were very happy with our meals and the service. Breakfast menu was extensive and food well cooked and presented. We found that the staff were all extremely helpful and we felt like valued guests. We booked a 3 night special offer and felt that it was very good value. Would certainly be happy to stay there again.
