The homestay is located in front of the ashtamudi lake, a quiet and peaceful place to rest.
The rooms are well decorated and clean. The bathrooms are clean, big and have hot water!
Joseph, the owner, is helpful. He can organize you a trip on the backwaters and even pick you up when you arrive in Kollam. Thanks to his advise, we discovered restaurants with authentic Kerala dishes.
Breakfast is not included in the room rates but is not expensive. Don't forget to order you dinner or lunch few hours before!

We could not have been more impressed with these stunning villas and their welcoming, attentive and professional owner, Joseph.
Our group of three stayed in two rooms; both of which were beautifully decorated, with the bathrooms exceptionally so.
We had delicious food several times during our stay.

Joseph very kindly went out of his way to organise a houseboat trip for us which we hired for a very reaasonable price. The boat had a lovely crew and was a great experience. He was also on hand to help us organise our onward travel.

Overall the villas represent excellent value for money and a welcome respite from the bustle of th big cities!

Such a lovely place. Quiet, great accommodation, pretty garden and friendly staff. The best place to stay in Kollam I am sure. The staff could not have done more for us and our little cottage was spotless and well designed. They organised our Munro Island trip which was very enjoyable although I would avoid going on a Friday unless you want to hear the service from the temple being broadcast on loud speakers around the island.

Our best stay so far in India. Beautiful cottages & gardens, lovely people and food and great backwaters (500r per person) and local rickshaw tours (400r per person). Staff also organized rickshaw a to local evening festival in countryside. Nice mellow neighbourhood with super friendly & genuine locals too. Very recommended!

Had no plans to stay in Kollam but just stopped because we were tired coming from Alleppey. Found this villa as number 1 in kollam. Called & found a room easily as it was off season there. The moment I entered, I was stunned looking at the beauty & the location of this place. We initially thought we will stay only for a day and we move ahead to Varkala but finally stayed for 3 days. Enjoyed each & every moment over there. Maheen, the guy who takes care of this villa is a great person. He has not learnt to say no to anything. He will always have his smiling face ready for you. Being North Indian, we were fed up eating south Indian food. They provided us their kitchen to cook our own food.

Rooms are Non AC but AC was not required in the month of April as it was quite cool over there.

This is a place where you would definitely like to stay not just for a day. Room, Bathroom, Garden, Lake. Everything is so beautiful over there. Only problem is their own food rates. That is a bit on expensive side for Indians. Rest this villa was a charm. If you are in Kerala. Need peace. Then close your eyes & jump in there.

Room Tip: Take the 3rd room from the start. That's the biggest & best room.

My only dissapointment was we couldn't stay longer, we stayed here for one night in our travels around Kerala and it couldn't have been more perfect.
We were greeted by Joseph and staff who couldn't have been more attentive and helpful and made our stay really comfortable.
The location overlooks Ashtamudi Lake and the villas garden is really well kept with hammocks and seating to laze around and enjoy this stunning accomodation and surrounding views.
The rooms were fantastic, beautifully decorated, spotless bathrooms and A/C available after 10pm.
Lunch and breakfast although not a vast choice available was really delicious.
Joseph was really helpful with suggestions on what to do, where to eat in the main town and arranged a houseboat for us to depart from the jetty.
This was one of the best places i've stayed at in Kerala! Thanks Joseph and Staff!

Great location over looking a lake, with a great team of staff. The host was was really helpful letting us no about local attractions and organising transport for us, a great help! The rooms were very nice and comfortable and the fan was powerful so did not need air condition. The garden was also great to relax and food was nice. Recommend !!
