I had the opportunity to stay in Auberge Saint-Pierre for 7 nights. From the time of my arrival to my departure, I was warmly welcomed into the Auberge by the Arrossamena family and their staff. The bright and modern furnishings of the main entrance made for an inviting reception area. Breakfast in the bright dining room offered a variety of fresh foods and the opportunity to interact with their international guests. The simply furnished and exceptionally clean room with internet connection, television, bath and shower was reasonably priced and met my needs. The location, a 10-15 minute walk to the main square and waterfront, was ideal as it offered me the opportunity to photograph and enjoy the colourful architecture of the homes and historical sites on the island.
I was grateful to Bernard Arrossamena, his mother, Rita, and staff for arranging appointments with the Saint-Pierre Tourist Office staff, making restaurant reservations and sharing their personal life experiences on the islands. The Arrossamena family continue to invest in their property and it is obvious that they are very interested in providing their guests with excellent service and a memorable experience of their visit to Saint-Pierre et Miquelon. I would highly recommend the Auberge Saint-Pierre as a primary choice of accommodation when visiting these unique and historical French islands.More
