We had some wonderful days at Cecilia and Sergio in a with a beautiful landscape of the valley next to bucciano. I likes it a bit familiar. And Sergio and Cecilia can show you where you have to go or to park to see the original Tuscany culture. I can't say something about the dinner. You have to tast. It's one of the best meals I ever had. Normally I wouldn't write this all, because I wouldn't want that many tourists come to bucciano and aren't able to see the nature or destroy it with their waste. But I promised to share my experiences. Svenja and Johannes.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Agriturismo Settesoldi. We couldn't have asked for something more perfect--the house is a beautiful old farm that's been restored with incredible taste; the landscape around is breathtaking; and the proprietors Sergio and Cecilia were wonderful company and exceptional cooks. We enjoyed lots of quit time during the days, but also got great recommendations from Sergio on places to go and things to do. On a number of occasions we went out with Sergio for a tour of tiny medieval villages in the surrounding hills. We also got a tour through Sergio of a local winery, which was incredible. Sergio and Cecilia were great company in addition to being great hosts--we enjoyed chatting with them and the other guests over long dinners.
All told, this was a perfect experience--something we will hope to repeat in this lifetime!

First of all I´d like to express my admires about Azienda Agricola Settesoldi and personally to Cecilia and Sergio!
I red many gorges descriptions of Cecilias talent to make a great food and Sergios hospitality! I am one person more who says the same, but I´d like to add that Cecilias soft voice, kindness, way to listen, to answer and to talk give a spiritual peace and feelings that you are at the RIGHT place on the Earth! Sergio is an unique person himself: person to talk with about EVERYTHING in the world from politic to music an much, much more!!!!
But I cannot keep silence about our another “host” in this place-this is TOSCANA itself! The treasure in Italians crown! People, state, everybody who lives in Italy and Toscana has to have the RESPONSIBILITY to keep this treasure shining , take care about it and make it more beautiful, healthy as a natural and historical legacy of the country.
Azienda Settesoldi is the part of Toscana and we believe that we will come back to the SAME Beautiful place in the present Beautiful environment, where the Beautiful nature is far away from our industrialized life and humans often very stupid steps!

By chance we found Cecilias and Sergios place, embedded in a transquill toscanian landscape. Sergios hospitality and Cecilias cooking skill must be especially notified. Total silence at night in comfortable room and the scence of unspoiled nature around led to a unforgettable experience. Interesting talks with Sergio and Cecilia after a marvellous dinner, and accompanied with a good glass of wine, was pure enjoyment!
The unpaved road guided us to a true gem of toscanian hospitality and recreation, and we do hope, that this place remain in this present environment, where unspoiled nature is far away from our industrialized life!

Room Tip: Room upstairs at the right has better view.

This is what staying at an agriturismo should be! We were welcomed like we were family. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed was the most comfortable one we have experienced on our 5 week trip to Europe. Cecilia is a wonderful cook and went out of her way to make sure that I had what I needed for my gluten free meals. I would recommend this place to everyone. In fact, I wrote about it on my blog! Next time, we want to stay longer than two nights!!

Room Tip: We loved our room. It was called, "View of the Moon."

Sergio, the owner of Settesoldi, can be quite particular in many ways. He has rules for most things, and things are done the way they are supposed to be done without shortcuts. For example, one golden rule is that "a real agriturismo should be 49% hotel and 51% farm" and hence he goes out of his way to be the best possible host to all guests while he is also tending to his 602 (six hundred and TWO!) olive trees. Another rule is "no TV", instead he invites you into his world of music (one night its italian jazz, the next a classic opera) or shares with you his passion for art.
He has a lot of tips and knowledge about the surrounding area that he shares with enthusiasm - both do's (if you go to Siena, you MUST see Piazza del Campo, followed by a 45 minute lecture about the bi-yearly Palio di Siena horse race that takes place in this square) and dont's (on your way to Siena you will see a mysterious old castle up on a hill, do NOT go there - its an awful place full of tourists and cheap souvenir stands! Its better it remains a mystery). He will have tips like this for any destination anywhere in Tuscany, what to see - where to park - and of course the best way to get there.

Cecilia cooks up an outstanding dinner every night, going out of her way to never serve any guest the same meal twice (which with her repertoire isn't any problem, not even the time they had a guest staying for 20 consecutive days). Its really great to get to sit down every night to share a fantastic dinner together with Sergio and Cecilia and guests from all over the world.

We had a great stay!

This place is a beautiful located little paradise in the middle of the Tuscan hills. As from the moment you drive trough the gate of this agriturismo, Sergio and Cecillia make you feel at home. Cecillia is a great cook and Sergio the perfect host (that speaks English rather well). He knows when to offer you a glass of wine and when to let you to enjoy the stunning views of the peaceful valley from the pool or from a comfortable chair while reading a book. Don't be surprised if he offers you to visit a olive oil factory, or refuses to make you a cappuccino after 11 a.m....
A beautiful place, friendly people, good food: everything we looked for in a relaxing holiday in Tuscany.
