“Wonderful Casa Bini”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2013

Our family group recently stayed at Casa Bini for a holiday plus attending a family wedding, and Paul and Rose could not have been more helpful.
The rental of the ground floor of the villa really worked for us with our bathroom having a walk in shower especially as my husband is disabled.
We enjoyed a brilliant evening of wine tasting and pizza making with Paul and Rose.
A perfect place for relaxing!

Four of us just returned from a trip to Italy. After a fast paced week in Rome and Florence, we settled at Casa Bini. The views alone are amazing, but Paul and Rose and their kids made us feel like part of their family. That is a huge part of the charm of Casa Bini. That and the location for day trips, the laid back atmosphere and of course the wine. We were on our own much of the time but managed to get in cooking lessons including pizza, pasta and my favorite Tiramisu and finally a wine making tour. It also didn't hurt to have English speaking hosts when as much as we tried our Italian was limited.

I was probably the first visitor of Casa Bini back in 2003 when I occupied the lower floor. I have just rented it again, this time with a family group of 10 people and occupying both floors of the house. It was again a fantastic experience of staying on top of a beautiful hill in Tuscany in a large and very comfortable house. The place is strategically close to many nice places to visit by car. And this last time we had the priviledge of having a delicious dinner of local typical meal prepared by Paul while looking at the stars.

Room Tip: There are two floors of the house to be rented but you can choose only one if you want. Both are c...

I invited 17 friends to celebrate my birthday in Tuscany. We booked out the entire property for 5 days. On my birthday, Paul BBQ'd a feast for us and we danced outside under the stars.. It was lovely! On the other days we ordered pizza and looked after ourselves. The pool was beautiful and has lovely views of the surrounding hills. A slice of paradise! We were well looked after and had everything we needed. We liked the proximity to Pisa and Florence for easy access to the villa and also for day trips. A car would have been handy for grocery shopping.

We stayed here with two other couples and found we had plenty of space. Paul was great at getting us settled and also cooked us a memorable dinner. The estate was stunning with nice walks and the oportunity to watch the estate wine being made. Would love to go back. Wrote this review twice before Casa Bini was listed but it did not get posted.

We spent a wonderful week at Casa Bini, set on a hilltop in the tuscan countryside, with the most stunning breathtaking scenery. The location is perfect for those who wish to visit nearby Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Certaldo, San Miniato and of course, the Chianti region. There is plenty to do on site as well should you wish to simply relax, enjoy the very nice large pool well equipped with loungers as well as a covered table and chairs for an afternoon snack and drinks.
The children enjoyed the mini-farm with goats and chickens and had a blast chasing the many friendly cats. The property managers Rose and Paul are always available to help with anything you need, from towels and travel advice to Paul's delicious tomatoes grown on site. They are lovely people, wonderful to chat with. You can never get enough of the beautiful panorama of rolling hills, vineyards and tall cypress trees all around. Overall, great accomodations in the most amazing Tuscan setting.

Our family of four stayed at Casa Bini in the villa called Lavinia for 1 week from July 14th. We had a lovely holiday.

The property is perfectly located equidistantly between Florence, Pisa and Siena, so is excellent for sight-seeing. We also loved San Gimignano where Romeo and Juliet was recently filmed.

Lavinia was a great house - spacious, cool when it was very hot outside and with every amenity you could ask for or want.

The owners, Rose and Paul, were superb - so friendly and welcoming. Always magically there when you needed them. They really made the holiday extra special; for example, they provided a fantastic BBQ for all the guests on our penultimate night, which was delicious and a great opportunity to get to know other guests. There was also a lovely welcome pack when we arrived, including their own wine and honey. My daughter hated honey before, but is now a total convert.

The setting is fabulous too; because it is on a hill you have amazing views of gorgeous rolling Tuscan hills all around. The pool is huge and very well equipped (pool room / shower / towels etc) and there are lovely pieces of furniture spread throughout the grounds for you to relax in or enjoy a drink - including a very comfy hammock.

I could go on for ever.....but, all in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Casa Bini for a fantastic family holiday - and would love to go back.
