My whole family have enjoyed many wonderful evenings Fairlawns delightful restaurant.
It really is the perfect place for a celebration of any kind. ALL the staff are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make a fuss of the entire party.
Right from the lovely, professional welcome from the hotel receptionist as you arrive, to the inobtrusive serving of the wonderful food in the restaurant. The menu has something to offer everyone is served promptly and the food is presented in a very attractive manner. Not to mention how delicious it is!
My husband and I have also been lucky enough to stay at the hotel on several occasions AND make use of the spa and leisure facilities.
The entire team will do anything to make your stay a more pleasant and special occasion. You are greated by smiling receptionists who are smartly dressed in uniform.
They work proffessionally and make you feel wecome from the moment you walk in the door. The rooms are all comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a great deal of thought given to the guests comfort.
The spa experince is out of this world! To be pampered and spoilt ,again by such wonderful staff is a joy all of its own!
I cannot fault one thing about this hotel. It certainly is a treasure to be beholden!
Well done to ALL the staff, Your hard work certainly makes for a fantastic place to visit!

We recently stayed in Fairlawns for a saturday night. We thought the hotel was in a lovely picturesque part of the world and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is in good condition and the large rooms have got everything you need including satelite TV (I was a little disppointed that the setenta sports channel kept losing its signal, my wife wasn't though). As for the Spa its excellent, a lot of imagination has gone into the different features on offer. The swimming pool is also a good size.
If you dont fancy eating in the hotel (although i've heard the food is excellent) theres a little town centre 10 minutes walk a way with a few restaurants. As for breakfast you definately do want to eat in the hotel as it was excellent. You could have a cooked breakfast, cereal, toast and yoghurts etc. To be recommended.
I'd only say there was one down side to our stay and thats that our room was above the spa so there was a noticable humming noise (but this could only be noticed in the night and if you happen to wake up)

For the last 2 years we have been to Hoar Cross Hall for our girlie spa break, but this time we decided to have a change and werent disappointed by our stay at Fairlawns.

We arrived at the hotel at midday but were advised we couldnt check in till 2pm, unlike Hoar X where you can use the facilities from 10am. Once inside though we appreciated why, as it is on a much smaller scale. The benefit of this though is that the service is much more personable. The girls in the spa and the staff in the restaurant cant do enough for you.

The food thoughout our stay was excellent, with a heathly accent, but there were also some excellent cakes for gorging on!

We booked 2 adjoinging rooms, as recommended on this site previously, which was a great idea. The rooms are beautiful.

Looking forward to next years break already. All in all it was a great value break.

we are a 24 yr old married couple who went to Fairlawns for our 1 yr wedding anniversary. We booked the ultimate spa stay and we were not disappointed. For what you get it is amazing value for money. Not only that but the service is amazing in every single way with the staff doing every thing they can to please and doing it with enthusiasm and with a smile on their face. The treatments were perfect and i can say this with confidence as my wife is a therapist in a 5 star spa and neither she or i had any complaints. The evening meal was delicious and of a 5 star quality with the restaurant staff being fantastically efficient and making you feel very comfortable and welcome. Everything about this stay was faultless and we will definitely be making it a regular event.

Just back from Spa Day through Smart Box and I have to say i was very impressed. Have been to many spa's and i have to say this is one of the best. The staff are the most cheerful and attentive yet not intrusive I have ever meet, nothing was too much trouble. Spa is a good size with 2 relaxation lounges, + reading room, hydrotherapy suite (comprising 2 steam rooms, 2 heated loungers, heated benchs with foot spas, drench bucket and adventure showers (scented and coloured!) all great fun and seperate sauna garden complex to boot, had to admit takes a bit of getting used to trekking over in the november weather to the sauna complex, but is worth it. Inside this timber hut : infra red sauna, intense sauna and aromatherapy sauna and the second lounge, again all lovely. Oh and must mention the food, fruit salad and yogurt included for brekkie and a buffet salad bar for lunch (salmon, prawns, ham, chicken, breads, mini jacket spuds, & various potato and pasta salads & mixed leaves) oh the highlight homemade chocolate brownies and scones available on the counter from mid afternoon...Also during the day help yourself teas' coffees etc, flavoured water etc. Abs lovely day spa i have to say, and essential oils burning in the background just finished it all off...Loved it, go there!

I booked my girlfriend and I into this hotel for a romantic night away and so took advantage of the "Romantic break for two" deal they had on their website.

Had a love half bottle of wine, chocolates and a rose in the room for when we arrived.

We then made full use of the spa and pool which are all great.
I can really recommend the Shower Adventure Experience.

Then had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Smaller portions but packed with flavour. Great wine list too.

I booked and executive room and it was very spacious, clean and luxurious.

The staff are very friendly and welcomed us with a smile.

All in all a lovely little break away and I would thoroughly recommend it for a night away with a loved one.
