We reserved for our party of nine which included a 2 year old baby. No real high chair available but they did their best to accommodate. Menu selection was regional; 300gm steaks highly recommended. Carpaccio was enjoyable, salads were well received. Outdoor seating, just outside the wall, provided a spectacular view of Val d'Orcia with Pienza on the next hilltop. Downside, restaurant quickly filled to seating capacity, straining the service level. While our group mixed courses, as we usually do, there were several lapses that resulted in one person waiting for the carpaccio antipasto until well after everyone else was served, and another, waiting for her steak until everyone else had been served, and had finished eating. It was explained to us that the small kitchen was overloaded, but nevertheless it seems that a basic rule of the restaurant business is to deliver the meals to a group even this size at approximately the same time. We understand that Dominici and Serena have a rapidly growing business and understandably so--we wish them well.
